I am very cautious about the intent of this huge update size as it is probably just a bug fix, but imagine if this update added a few new tracks and Le Mans was left out? This forum would go bonkers!

I was thinking, wouldn't it be funny if they just dropped Le Mans, Isle of Man, Pikes Peak, Deep Forest, etc etc out of no where?

I've just opened the game up and downloaded the file (thanks Verizon Fios™). Since there's maintenance still going on I can't open Brand Central, but there appears to be no new scapes or tracks and no new cars based on the scapes scenes on the menu.

Edit: in the menu, the scenic videos of the cars from 1.15 continue to play. I think that there aren't any new cars, maybe the 24 gigabyte update was simply a mistake or a requirement.

If that's the case - then this was just a full reinstallation of the game - really "nice" way of patch rollout ...

Well, that's a bummer down. Lucky that I didn't expect something "big" with this update. But, we'll see once maintenance is finished.

Last hope is maybe they added a Gt6 like lobby or something on the Vr side of the Game

Just checked its likely just a reinstallation of the FFB and sound i guess game is still 72.44 GB if i check game info
