Another place to get G25 Shifter Mod Tutorials?

I know there are probably a lot of threads on this topic but I was wondering if there is another place where I can get tutorials on how to add resistance to my shifter? It seems that racesimscentral is the only place that has tutorials for it and they have been down for quite a while now. I have my G25 shifter opened up and everything I just don't know what to do to add resistance. thanks!

fill out about half of the white tube with something so that spring gets more tension.. and you are done.

yeah I noticed that when I took the ball out, the spring was already snapped so i have to drop down to the hardware store to find a spring

Good luck! I know you will be very happy about it.. but it won't add THAT much resistance. As well go for the no click sound mod. I use to have the No click sound mod, then I took it out when I did realistic resistance... and the clicking came back.. So do at the same time

yeah, that's just the ducktape part so that won't be bad. Hopefully the wiring isn't broken, one of the black pieces that holds the plug in place broke off, but it still plugs in, it just doesn't snap. any suggestions for that?

leave it alone? things don't have to snap in order to work you know As long the cables are connected in right way it will be fine. But if you worry about the plugs unplugging, just get some electric tape.. but really don't worry about it.

yeah, I installed it to see if it worked and it seemed to work but i'm just scared it might come loose after a while haha. ****, hopfully i can find the right size spring
