but is the owner of two teams also same ? Because sometimes i read a news that Red Bull testing his drivers in Torro Roso... Red bull gonna try his Torro roso drivers in Red Bull etc etc. More over i heard that Torro Roso name itself mean Red Bull in Spanish or Italian language(i dont remember which language)
i also read that Ricardo who replaced Indian racer Narain Kartikeyan also belong to Red Bull... !! If is so then i cant understand what is the use of Red Bull keeping 2 or 3 teams... ?

Torro Rosso is a "B team" to Red Bull, their junior team. It's really part of their young driver program, it's the team in which they will test their young drivers and prepare them to become future drivers for the senior team in the future.

Torro Rosso is Italian for Red Bull, and is an Italian based team, as Red Bull took over Minardi in 2005 and renamed it Torro Rosso. Regarding Daniel Ricciardo, he's part of the Red Bull young driver program, and is a highly rated driver, who is on the sidelines waiting to replace one of STR's current drivers, but perhaps because of both drivers doing a good job, has yet to replace any of them. Nevertheless, Red Bull want to see how good Daniel really is, so the signed an agreement with HRT for them to have Daniel drive the car alongside Liuzzi for Red Bull to see how good Daniel is.

i think it would be Webber this time.. but vettel has also good chance as it is his home country...

just watched new Top Gear episode (17x3) and as guest there was S. Vettel.
He drove old Suzuki Liana and was much faster (as for F1 standards) then other drivers. So he's good alright.

He did 1:44.000, 0,3 sec faster over Barichello, 0,4 faster then old STIG

And he was very funny to, so it was very positive in my eyes.
 
Hey B fox. How was your experience in Catalunya track ? As i was reading articles i found Catalunya description as nightmare. How much was your best lap time ?
 
I like Catalunya track very much. Its true that AI is incredible fast here, but i like competition :)
My best place in Catalunya on Legend AI was 5th(was raining at first) i think. Can't remember my best lap time right now, but will check it on sunday evening. It was about 1:23:xxx

I cut deep 1st and 2nd corner. Then with my right foot down i go through 3rd, late brake (just when i go under that bridge or whatever it is). I cut deep 7th and 9th corner, and remember not to cut hard corners 14th and 15th.
Than again foot down and across the line ! :)
 
Hey B fox. great lap time. My best lap time in my 1st practice was 1:33 in rain with option tiars. One thing i cant understand why do engineers ask me to choose intermediate tiars as its heavily raining. Do u remember wot setup you used there ? I find its so tough yet its really interesting.
 
You'll always be much slower in the rain than in dry conditions. So i guess 1:33 in rain is pretty good :)

I know sometimes they ask You to change tires, but You need to decide yourself which to use.

Can't say which setup to use - but in carrer mode i generaly use standard setting from menu. Only small changes of top speed etc.
 
HUUFFF... after all setups i got the laptime of 1:27 in dry condition using option tires...still can not cross a position above 20th.. now it seems almost IMPOSSIBLE in catalunya to come in top 3 position in qualy...
 
What difficulty level do you have the AI on? Also are you using a wheel or a controller? I too was having trouble with intermediate AI and also on that track and a couple others but when I got a dfgt and configured it to my liking, I can confidently get around that track a lot smoother and faster. Man, when I try an expert AI season with no driving assists, it's going to be a nightmare!

I am not sure but i think its easy AI. how can i know AI once we have started playing a career ? because as far as i know we have to choose AI at the start of career ? and i am playing career with controller and i am in Virgin team. btw what is DFGT ?

I started on easy but now I'm at intermediate or the next one up from easy. I race for HRT and dfgt is the Driving Force GT wheel. I bought one last week and like it a lot. You can change the wheel settings in this game to have the wheel and car behave exactly how you want them too, which is very, very cool.

oh yeah.. Its great fun to drive with a wheel. My cousin have one. I tried my hands on it..:-) Initially it was so tough to drive with wheels after using controller or keyboard.. and yes i remember now where to change AI. I just finished qualy in Catalunya with 17th grid WITH SO MUCH DIFFICULTY.. lol I dont have patience now to try once again... now i gonna face The Race.. what was your laptime ?
 
oh its was custom AI i was playing in. now it turned into easy.. but i think i will never finish in top 10 in catalunya..ALL 23 PLAYERS SEEM TO PLAY TO BLOCK ME. they dont wanna win..AMAAZZIINNNNGGG. From the start to the last. goshh... i dunno what happened to AIs.. always and always blocking me only...

Try to brake late and overtake them from outside. Or when You have good pace in the corners You can catch them on corner exit.
Just don't crash them or you will get penalty.

Practice, the results will come :)
 
I hate Catlunya with a passion. I have the AI set perfectly for a good challenge, but I then cringe when I see the next race is the Spanish GP. There are issues with pace at some races, this one being the only set too difficult, with Bahrain and Abu Dhabi set too easy (reducing / increasing difficulty doesn't have much affect).
