Any interest in a GT Planet official daily thread advertising same day member lobbies?

Would a daily thread advertising GTP members' lobbies be of interest?

WARNING! You have been kicked out of the lobby?
Having ditched the Sport/FIA ruckus I've been having a blast running custom races and tuning a few cars to tracks. Plus running my own lobbies has been fun too.
Just spent 15 mins in another persons lobby getting a good time at Interlagos in the little N400 Toyota . Posted 2 fast laps, 2nd was 6 seconds faster than the leader (who then quit the room).
The guy who took it over then just kicked me out with no warning. Obviously I was nowhere near any other cars. So there was nothing I did on track other than drive
quicker than usual. Was using the N400 Toyota I tuned earlier today on.
My question here is this so-called 'warning' from PD wont actually have ANY affect on my profile will it?
What's the point of a 'warning' anyway if not about dire future consequences? I was just kicked out instantly after posting the fast time.
I have now added OTHER users Lobbies (unless I know them) to my list of places NOT to go in this game. (Sport/FIA/Unknown lobbies)
I still have my own lobbies, perennially empty as they, are to enjoy,

Any interest in a GT Planet official daily thread (recycled regularly) advertising same day member lobbies?
The lobbies could either be live at time of posting or planned later on.
I understand there are already some leagues and regular member rooms going on, I'm honored to have been already asked to one (Thanks OT!).
This lobby thread would be more of a casual thing. Another bonus for members is that I'd be spending more time racing and not posting here

Seem like the community here could name their lobbies with a 'GTP' prefix or something like that so you'd know it was a good place to race against like-minded racers.

Hey good point. The admins would have to be happy with that idea though. The problem with unofficial lobbies is that people assume they may actually be official, and representative of GT planet itself.
(I sense a disclaimer coming!!
Which ACTUALLY might be an even better idea, hint hint. A members only official lobby where good behavior is pretty much guaranteed. Plus we can get some 'close encounters' too!
If a bunch of lobbies were run on a volunteer basis by GTP members, we could have lobby shifts, where a lobby would be guaranteed online 24 hours barring server maintenance.
Not just one lobby, several. All online all day long. Sorry but I'm dreaming here as this sounds like heaven.
Lobbies:
Single Car
Tuning
Endurance
BoP Gr 3/4

etc..

I can volunteer a daytime and night time Ring shift. :D
What this game is crying out for is a dungeon master like option where we can run the lobbies and monitor them without actually having to race the whole time.

This was a thing in GT6 and should be it's own forum section again. When you click on GT6 Online Racing you get:

GT6 Racing Series
GT6 Clubs & Leagues
GT6 Single Races & Time Trials

Single Races is what you're looking for. No league affiliation and not a continuous series from week to week. Just whenever someone wants to open a lobby you can post about it there and the general GTP public would be aware and allowed in. The difference was the fact that not everyone wanted to join a league or commit to a series and there are casual racers. They still needed a place to gather. Right now GTS's only online forum is called Online Racing & Leagues. There's a separate section for SNAIL and that's it. There needs to be another section for Single Races & Time Trials.

Hey yes exactly. No commitment just fast and friendly racing. I believe PD have delivered a fairly solid and enjoyable game engine but are wholly incompetent to organize the online racing on it.
