Any interest in a realistic clutch mod for the T500 pedals?

Wow . . . talk about frustrating! It doesn't look like I'm going to be able to do what I want to do with the new parts, either . . . it just isn't giving me the effect I'm looking for. I've got a few other ideas, so I need to look for some other parts, but right now I'm thinking the pneumatic method is NOT going to work well for the clutch.

:banghead:

That said, I hit upon a burst of inspiration using some OTHER parts that I have on-hand, and that felt VERY promising. The mounting method may be a bit tricky, but I think I can make that work. Need to order a few more parts, though, but my V2 solution may do the trick, even if the pneumatics are failing me.

Stay tuned . . .

Im interested in anything t500rs related.. Ive been checking your site, twitter-feed, signed up for being informed on when the load cell mode would be back in stock to no avail.... Any updates on when it or any other version of it will be ready for sale? As always, funds are always ready :) The clutch idea looks really cool also...

Still trying to get some traction on the clutch mod (no pun intended) -- hope to get the first non-pneumatic prototype up-and-running this weekend, trying to figure out ways to keep the cost as low as possible on this one, but I've got some good ideas working, I think.

Not really canned, but what I've come up with is rather simplistic. I have kicked the idea around of publishing my concept as a "DIY" project and providing a parts list, so people could try it themselves. I'm still not satisfied with my prototype mounting scheme yet, though, so even that's a ways off.

:(

If the parts can be sourced locally then it seems a good idea to list the parts for people to attempt a DIY project. But if they cannot be mounted on the housing then it might not be a good idea. How technically challenging is it to do, is there some electronics involved?

Thanks
