Any NASCAR 40 lap set ups?

I frequently race NASCAR online and I have tried all sorts of set ups, but with no real luck to try to run 40 laps. I have seen others do it and I can not understand how. With my current set up without drafting I can run 41.8xx solo, and when doing these longer races I Lways try to slow up more and run the high line. Can anyone give me a set up where I will still run fast and get that kind of distance? Thanks in advance!

You've got the right technique for longer runs, the high line and staying in the draft. But, in my experience you will be running mid-42 second laps to get 40 or more laps from your car (and I've run with some pretty seasoned NASCAR racers). I've even seen people get 50+ laps, but they were running consistent 43 second lap times with a partner on the high line the whole time.

I'm not a tuner, and I don't usually post setups, but try this and let me know if it works for you.

Set up with no driving aids and ABS=0
I use a wheel. You may get different results if you use a controller

Transmission: Set final to 3.500 with top speed at 249. Adjust top gear to give 254MPH

Suspension

Front/Rear

14/15
16.2/16.0
7/7
7.6
6/6

Camber
1.5/.8

Toe
-.05/+.05

Brakes
3/2

Driving notes: If you stay up on the track, from mid point to the wall, you should get 40 laps. If you drop down and run the line, you will get about 32-35 laps.

I'm curious as of to why guys post their brake setup at Daytona??? I only use the brakes for when I'm hitting pit road and if there is a wreck or everyone checks up. For the most part, I jus roll out of the throttle to slow down.

And exactly that's the point for the brakes. You use it when you pit stop.
That's reason enough.
