Any quick DS4 drivers I can add as a friend? NA region

I'd love to be able to chase some faster ghosts in my qualifying times, I would like to get better, and would love to graduate to a wheel eventually - but I'm stuck with a couch setup for the foreseeable future so for now I'll work with what I have.

I'm currently DR:B SR:S and for example I was setting low 1.41's on Dragon Tail in my Atenza GR.3 last night, I'd love to be able to get into some of the DR:A lobbies.

Anyways, my PSN is MalevolentFather - if anyone feels like adding me I'm always looking for new drivers to populate my friends list with.

Wheel users welcome too...

Not only drivers ranking A are able to produce fast lap times.. My rank is EB  due to only having 3 online races, too many people have it in their heads that ranks SS / SA / AA / AB or whatever configuration of ranking are the best drivers but this is not the case :D
Some people can put what time they have into the game and some people live the game.. rankings mean nothing in this game as it's basically time spent in races rather than running the odd hotlap in their spare time! I know I will get flamed for saying that but I know that I can rank top 10 in most boards with my ultra crappy ranking ;)

My point is.. Don't isolate yourself from some possible friends on your PSN based on some silly in game ranking that means nothing to average Joe,
I have many drivers of different in game rankings and I choose to accept or delete due to their interest in racing if I know them from GTP etc.. and not this over exaggerated skill level tag, Don't be Elitist! friends come in all shapes and sizes and not categories for the time they have in race ;)

Flame away guys! SS means as much to me as what colour of socks you are wearing 👍

I hear what you're saying - edited title of the thread.

Wait, how do we upload our friends ghost into our qualifying times?

And I would have let you add me as a friend but you're racist towards steering wheel people :-)

I said wheel users welcome!
I'm mostly curious to see who's near the top end of the driving speed spectrum that are using a pad.

I'm a B/S and have been running in the top tier rooms on a ds4. I am not one of the fastest by any means but consider myself a gatekeeper of sorts, the slowest of the fast guys. Feel free to add me, my psn is the same as my gtp id. Also check out snailracing.org . Plenty of fast drivers and the format is specifically designed to help you improve and compare yourself to others and has bred many gtacademy finalists over the years.

It'd be cool if they put a little icon that showed people what other people are using.

So how do you put your friends ghost in qualifying?

I think if they did you would find that the DS4 users actually are the ones with an advantage. In the previous GT titles the wheel tended to have a small advantage, with certainly fewer top 10 world times, or GT Academy top qualifiers, using the controller. But in GTS I have seen a lot of evidence that the advantage now is to the DS4 users, this also seemed to be the case in the later versions of the GTS beta.
