Anyone else love to play the game with no money?

I love getting starting with almost nothing and having to really work to get more mods and cars. I don't know about you guys but if I get pre-order bonus money I don't activate it.. You?

I will not use it until I have earned at least 10.000.000 cr by normal play.
Same way I won't use any anniversary cars until I have bought the normal version of that car.

As per post 2 for A spec. However I will use the anniversary editions online if my friends/group are running them. I may try to get the first part of the game done using stock cars only without upgrades.

I like early grinding when everything is new, fresh and exciting. So definitely yes. What I dislike is earning credits towards the end, when it becomes a boring, repetitive grind. Hopefully, that part of the game has been tweaked.

I like the early stage as well, trying to get just a few credits to add just a few more hp and win the next race is always cool.

On GT5 I did not know that the bonus cars were going to be placed in my garage until after I entered the codes and then I have a F1 and a Nascar in my garage that are allowed into the events which made it very tempting to use one of those and save my credits for something else.

This time I will wait to redeem the extras. I also hope that they use a PP system on the GT Mode races to prevent being able to run say a Nascar in the sunday cup and other such races

I will take my $1,000,000 and my 25 cars and do my absolute best to avoid the offline portion of GT6 completely. :)

Yes starting from scratch is my favorite part of the GT series. I start EVERY game from scratch. I like to earn my cars and upgrades.

My favorite moment from the GT series was in GT3. Struggled for a long while with my Miata and kept adding more and more performance parts. Never really unlocked any great cars until.....I finished the entire Mercedes race series. After that I unlocked the Mercedes CLK Touring car. Seeing the 4 silhouettes spinning around and all of a sudden THAT car showed up!!! I started dominating from that point forward and was so greatful after all the hard work. Truly earned it.

No, because I know that in a month I'll have to grind and grind and grind. So instead of grinding, I have my cake and it it too.
Plus I don't like the underlying elitist attitude that most of the "I'm too good to use freebies" people show.

I prefer to play with no money. The thing that I really liked in the old games was starting from the bottom and having to race just to buy small upgrades for my cheap 2nd hand car so I could compete and move forward, racing and saving to buy my first high end car. But then I got a collectors edition in GT5 and I have Lamborghinis in my garage to begin with, it really spoiled it. Though I avoided using them, it was a little bit too easy to make money in GT5.

Even worse in GT6 if you're getting the Anniversary Edition, here is 1m credits to ruin the game progression for you.

It was fun in GT1, 2 & 4. GT3 was rough. GT5P was killing me. GT5 just gave the wrong prize cars. GT6 GT MODE? I'm hoping to buy all Fully rendered (ex-Premium) Mercedes-Benz AMG cars. So, should be interesting to see how long it takes me.

I'll take my credits, and my cars and use them too. It's content that I payed for, and after 5 games the repetitive grind gets tiring.

I hope there are seasonal events on day 1.

Go to the last 3 sentences to get straight to the point.

I absolutely love the fact of starting at the bottom and making my way up the ladder. In my book, starting out with the 25 extra cars and the 1 million credits is ok.... Under ONE condition. It is optional.
I hope it is optional(via codes).

Also, the end of the line grinding is also very annoying. Suppose you did each event 1 time in order(and got gold), would you be a high enough level to advance throughout the game? For buying cars and such, I would have to say no. If you did every single race once and got gold, I am sure you would not have 20 million to buy that certain car you wanted.

This is where I would say, "Hey, what do I do now? I have completed every event, but I do not have enough money!"

The answer would clearly be to repeat races. This is what I do not like.

This is where Im hoping the game generates events in GT MODE.

I'll have the 25 Anniversary Cars but won't use them until the game requires me to, i always played GT games from scratch, it's how GT is usppose to be played in my opinion, all the memories from the old GTs, using the cars straight away to rush through GT mode would be like cheating (in my opinion). Can't wait for GT6 :P

Looks like we all do about he same thing. Once I get to a point where money isn't a deciding factor, then I'll cash in. Because once I get enough money to tune the car I easily dominate everything then I lose interest. That's why the first 3 GT's were great, I was garbage on track and it was my technique I had to master. After I started racing in the real world, after a few years I became an instructor, I went back to the series with GT5 and that's when it became about the AI not being built well enough, for me at least. I almost always run 100pp less than the race's allotment and that's not me bragging, that's me wanting the old days of scrapping by and having to ACTUALLY plan out where to spend my money and fight for position in game.

I love starting from scratch and work my way up.

I will not use any of my Anniversary Edt. cars other than online or practice mode until far into career mode. And if I happen to get a money boost, i'll just leave it be and not use it until I got plenty more by getting it myself.

Not really, I want to feel like I achieved something by making money.

This world revolves around money.. same concept

Yep, those first races with your first car are the best in the GT-mode.

That's why I want a separate "career" mode where it's like that all the time. I'd hope you'd be able to pick which car, which race series and have several on the go at once, with the cash being taken from a separate pot to your main funds, and restricted. Ideally, the absolute imperative to win should disappear, so that you don't want to "overtune", and you're content to work your way up to winning instead, by mastering the car and the races, not "cheating". :P

Since it's separate, it doesn't affect anyone's desire to "make money" (hint: it's not real), nor to just get stuck in with all the different cars - in fact, I think there should be a sandbox mode too: everything for free if you want it.

The progression should mean something, not simply be a way to gate content - there's so much of it now, it's simply not necessary.

I love the starting off and having to manage money for upgrades in the next race. Best part of GT hands down. I hope we get more access to used cars in GT6

GT3.., ooh i almost gave up on the series , I swear that damn PT cruiser sucked donkey dong!

While I love playing the career mode from the bottom, I'm going to be using the money for sure. I'm not going to let it interfere with my career though, I'll be building up cars for online. Building a beast drift car isn't cheap! I will though - if they still have the "typical opponents list" - choose from that (or something competitive) for career mode, I'm not going to deny myself that. As per tuning, I drive only stock for career mode, maybe an exhaust upgrade here or there but mainly stock - so I won't be spending much (if any) on that.

Now that's an interesting idea!💡👍
