Finally cracked the 1.05 barrier with a 1.05.9 after bungie cording my DGFT brake pedal. It's getting tougher and tougher to find any extra time on the 3 tracks now, and I'm still 5sec off the overall leaders time...it's simply amazing lol.

I guess I'm going to have to try this as cracking 105 has been very elusive for me, I had a session where i was consistently in the low 106's and nabbed a 106.1xx

Turn 5 has been pretty inconsistent for me as well, I need to get a bit faster to find out if I am losing any time later than that as the ghost is a ways ahead from 5 out.

This might be my favorite track! Because it is so short and easy for my n00b self to understand!

As for the car sliding around, I find that it happens when I mash it in 2nd gear if I am below 5k RPMs. At 5k or above and I mash it, I'm good to go. Sounds goofy but when I discovered this, it helped.

Don't be afraid to go 0% throttle for a moment to let the car rotate through the middle then power down. Sarah Fisher once told me while karting, don't open the throttle until you can keep the power down all the way out of the corner. There is no point in getting on the gas early only to let off as you are too wide on exit.

Anyone recall the episode of Top Gear when Jackie Stewart was coaching Captain Slow and guaranteed that he could drop his lap time by (IIRC) SIX seconds in a TVR? He said this exact same thing. Never get on the throttle unless you can stay on it. Nice to see it repeated by someone else.

Did 87 laps straight at this track today and now I'm beat. I could keep up with FixbyWire's ghost until the exit of the second to last corner. He seems to break the back end out into a controlled slide, then points the car straight sooner. Not sure if he used the handbrake on that turn or not, but as someone else said, the handbrake could be beneficial on that corner.
