Yes I spent over one thousand dollars on it and the guy at the computer store told me it was very simple to use and the only thing that I've found simple to do is make Flash 5 animations. Everything else is a brain thumper for me. I tried makin a graphic using Fireworks but the best I could do was the banner on my website. My friend made one and I have no clue on how he made it and I would love to know how to make my graphics look that good. Heres the graphic that he made.

One thing that is misleading with gfx programs is that they ARE oriented towards artists. You need artistic ability to make picutres... If you can paint a picture, you can do the same in photoshop, illustrator or fireworks.

Someone who is not good at off computer art will not have much luck with on computer art....

Also a note: Use micrsoft paint in conjunction with the software you use. It is easier to make specific dot changes then any of the above software... And you can actually draw gemoetry!

That image up there is made by just a regular font and plug ins from Fireworks 4 my friend said. I have no idea on how to make them kind of graphics. This is the best I can do

I'm not very good at making fancy graphics, but mine are simple and neat...I will post several of them...I employ clip art a great deal.
