Welcome Cristiano and thanks for the perfect service and help!

I want to show you why I asked you today if it is possible to put the revburners in a box without cooling.

And I made a video clip as promised but I still have to upload it to youtube.

How about AIM Sports XML Gauge Cluster

Probably you will be able to display only the RPM and speed. The gear position is not handled by the Rev Burner and the time works with sensors on the road, so won't work.

That would be cool if they did. Especially in a collaborated effort with logitech with some sort of device that users can attach to and detach from their Logitech wheel when needed. Now that also makes me wonder is a button box add-on along the lines of this will come out as well if Sony makes a PS3 with touch screen capabilities.

Unless Sony makes the PSP come with a touch screen otherwise I think you would just be able to control the buttons on the screen of the PSP from your GT wheel or PSP buttons.

Thanks for the feedback Cristiano

That thing's in the $1k range. While we're at it, I'd go for Stack's classy look.

Actually I'd put that in my car first.

Hehe! I would too but it would be good to know if it was possible to apply it to the sim cockpit too. :) The stack looks good too it just wouldn't have the rev range if I was driving the F1 car in GT5

Nice video, that seems to work well.

I have a full dashboard and speedo that I bought for my cockpit from a Citreon but ended up going with a different design not using a car dash.

One query I have with this is what happens if your playing a game and the revs of the in game car go much higher than 8000 rpm?

In that case, I need to buy an aftermarket tacho with 11000 rpm.
No, seriously, the pointer of the tacho will stay on the 8000 rpm as ong as the car ingame is reving higher than 8000 rpm.

Sorry guys missed those posts...

Motorbike counters go well into 10-14k easy and are cheap on auction sites.
Do they also work?

First: Kiki...thats awesome dude! That dash cluster works well and I like it! I didn't want a cluster myself as I want a more race inspired look but I have to say that is a sweet setup. Good job!

and now for mine:

I have my tach working now as well. I received my Rev-Burner last saturday and I must say that Symprojects sent it out fast! I ordered it Friday and received it a week later! Not bad considering it came from the UK.

I then contacted them for some quick info on possible power adapters and Cristiano replied very quickly and was quite helpful. I plan to do business with them again...soon.

Anyways... I am not doing a full dash cluster like kikie but for now I am just doing a single 5" tach with shift light. I may add a race speedo later...I'm just having problems finding one that goes up to 200mph (I may have to get a digital bar speedo..)

So here is my first video just testing the tach out via SimDash. Be warned that I have some music playing in the background that is NSFW. I'm warning you now.

And here I have it just sitting on my cockpit for testing purposes. It's fully working though I do not have the tach programed to enable the shift light. The shift light does work though.

Also keep in mind that I am holding the video cam in my left hand...steering and shifting (H-Pattern) with the right hand...so my driving is a bit sloppy lol.
