just wondering if anyone still using the old Logitech Driving Force wheel (circa... PS2/GT4).

i am contemplating on getting the Driving Force GT for the GT5, but wondering how much difference it will make?

Anyone used both and have any comments and recommendations?

thanks in advance.

I have one. I'm upgrading to a Fanatec GT3 RS2. I sure hope the new wheels are miles better. The FF on mine is so fake feeling. It slips and catches so much that it totally feels artificial. Can't wait to try a new wheel

I had the old Driving Force Pro, which was their first 900 degree wheel. It was great for its time. Having played with the newer GT model, I think it's still a step up, with a much better feel. As far as steering performance goes, it has more in common with the G25 than the old DFP. If you're on a very tight budget, it's an excellent wheel. It's actually pretty cheap on Amazon.com today.

Thanks for the tip on Amazon. it is very tempting.

actually my Driving Force is not even the PRO model, it's like the 1st gen Force Feedback wheel.

i have a DFP (with the GT badge on the middle). Upgraded to a G27 as my pedals where getting a bit slack. The difference is amazing...

Not exactly, the first gt branded one was the GT Force which was just a rebadged formula force for the pc. I have it and it is miserable compared to a momo force (red) and not worth comparing to the gt3rs or pwts.
