Anyone wanna take my challenge? :)

sounds like a fun challenge, dont think i could hold it for that long haha, just 1 too fast corner, hits grass and loses points = controller through the tv lol. on a different note drifting the 24hr nurburgring at midnight as a CH race is always entertaining

Man this challenge is tough. I'm using the RUF BTR '86 on a controller. It is quite tough to have a continuous drift. Trying desperately to keep the points going on straightaways is the worst part. It's feels draining trying to concentrate on the score, the car, and not going off track on narrow hairpins like in the GP section. I will complete this challenge.

I tried this a few times, but I always screw up somewhere. I'm pretty sure I can do it, but just focusing for that long is the hard part for me. You can get 6min in and screw up than have to start all over. It's just so much time with my eyes glued open that makes it tough lol.

I know. It's so tough, but I want to complete it. The worst part is trying to keep the score constantly going on straights by manjiing.

I know I can do it, but I highly doubt that I will be able to beat Dan's score. He has been doing this for a very long time. I am sure he could do the same score in a 180SX too.

I thought you were talking about me for a second.

But I know who you are talking about. Very, very impressing run in that C63 AMG.

That thing is full of torque, that was one of my first drift cars. After watching this, if GT7 takes my G27 then....must.....mod......a hand brake. He used it so well which is why i must suck on the wheel, much better on the controller but about 4 minutes in i hit a straight part and car breaks it. But shows what a proper set up can do, my tunes are ok but need more steering angled cars to keep front wheels sideways for me but bra-vo to him for that.

Another hard part is when the track goes on an angle. I can drift and keep it up easy but once the track has large banks my car always spins out. I tried in a few cars but they usually don't have enough power for that course. I'll probably try later today with a high powered car and see how it goes. It's one of those catch 22 situations where not enough hp and it's too slow for the track but too much hp and it overwhelms you.

I am telling you, HP doesn't matter. He can do the same thing in a 180SX. I have witnessed it. Him and a few others have the skill set to do it. It just takes a lot of time and practice with the combination of a style of drifting. You can do it, if you feel it.
(Sorry if it sounds corny, but a few of us see drifting in a different way).

You're right it can be done in any car but for me personally I have to drift with clean lines and angles. On large tracks lower hp cars lose power meaning I have flick the wheel the opposite way more to keep up the drift. I prefer to power through the whole way in one drift and only turn again on the next corner. On this track you go extremely fast that way and that's my problem, but I'm determined to do it.
