Apollo Nordschleife times ?

Ok you pros, what is a good time for an Apollo on Nords ?

I managed 6.19 online (winning) tonight...against Veyrons.

What should I be aiming for ?

I was red-lining at around 192 on the long straight though, so there must be more to come.

I doubt anyone in this forum could give you straight answer because you are on Xbox360. So you are blessed with no freezing problem. Most of the guys here use ps3 so we all have that problem. And driving Gumpert on Nordschleife is one of that deadly combo when just finish a single lap is a matter of luck

I don't think that should be much of a problem for you Steve ....but please let us know how you get on. I can take the humiliation.

I have only managed 6.15 in the Bugatti.

What a great-handling car the Apollo is though.... for me, always a joy to drive.

O/T, but here's my Xbox getting the repair treatment last week.
Now you can see why they call it the X box.

Those little white pads just need replacing with penny coins to cure the infamous 'red ring of death'. Crazy isn't it....but cheap too. 👍

One thing i just want to add.

- In online race, from standing start you should do 2:01 / 2:02
- While in time trial there is always like 2 or 3 seconds off so you should be aiming in 5:58 / 5:59 .... and steve should do even faster 5:57 maybe lower than that.

Yes of course that is true (extra time in race mode 'first' lap), I forgot to take that into consideration...so I did better really than I thought, but now you have set an even harder target.

Funds are tight cos I'm saving up for my (second) 'mail order' bride.

As you obviously know, Auto makes a real mess of trying to drive smoothly, and probably why I like the Apollo so much with its superb brakes, which goes some way towards getting some control back when entering the corners.

Blimey, I should be a bloody marvel when I get some gears !

Seriously at this point i don't know what this car is capable. I did not had time to work with tune for this track so i used my SPA setup. I've modified only gearing but with better suspension there is much more to shake off.

Just like i wrote earlier, for this moment i know that 5:57.500 is achievable 👍 But not with the car setup for SPA

Actually, I've been using Spa tuning too...just geared up slightly.

Something I've been meaning to ask:

Is there a record anywhere of best times for each track for each car/class ?

If not, that appears to be a major weakness of the autolog system.
I find it very frustrating that the autolog only records your fastest time overall on the tracks....so in many cases Veyron Veyron Veyron....

Also on the world records it doesn't state which car achieved that record (on Autolog).

When I do a fastest lap in say a B-class R35, I want to know how that compares to the times of other people....or am I missing something here ?

If you want to know that go for carrier and do it in b class more fastest lape there taken by g35 and make comparison between the time but for autolog online race only veyron veyron

I said the same thing on shift1 Graham, there should be Leaderboards for each class, as i never really raced A class or the old Unrestricted online. As for the apollo run its no WR but i feel theres more in it yet, i did beat my Veyron time tho. The WR on PS3 is a 545XXX and its done in a lambo, im sure i could get close or even beat it, but i cant get passed the first sector without a freeze

I was meaning WR for Apollo on Nords...hence my griping about lack of info for individual car times on the game.

The only time I get hold of a Murci is when someone specifies it on online races...then mine isn't tuned anyway of course.

No, WR for Apollo on Nordschleife is 5:48 without any track cutting. Which is verry impressive.
