They said it wasnt safe even before the hack, and thats one of the 1000 reasons to hack them. They say SONY are liars lmao. Anyway, I agree with them at some points, but to bad people who dont have to do anything with it will suffer.

They are working 24/7 to rebuild PSN ASAP. Well something was bound to happen with the Security Breach. I'm sure they value all their customers. I didn't have any card details saved anyway ;)
 
Being hacked is not the hackers fault; its your own.

Hmm also I think your photos pretty standard. It just looks like the rest of them I'd try and spice it up a bit.

Im starting to get irritaded by GTP; can we go somewhere else where you are allowed to type textmessage kind off stuff, and say that AWD drifting does not exist, and go offtopic in you own teamthread. Some of the gestapo here are okay others just like to contradict themselves.
Why does GTP have all these rules about how you need to type, and what kinda discussions you can or cannot have.

It's not very appealing anymore.. I know i usually type very neat. I'm a considerate person that never swears (in text) or makes fun of people (cause they slide AWD for instance), but i like being able to do it when i feel its needed. That little douchebagg TopBan should have gotten it straight from the start..

Then there is stickies that enforce you to have the opinion of GTP. (and why cant i quote this sillyness! i will create my own quotebox!)

I know it sais in the thread: that our opinions are not the same of GTP's, but making it illegal to state your opinion (that AWD does not drift) is some nasty stuff for sure!

This silliness has simply got to stop.

First bold bit: Yeah; and i would like to discuss my opinion with them.

Second bold bit: Why bann the discussion; thats what fora are all about. it would just need heavy moderation.

Third bold bit: and with that you state that your opinion (you can drift every drivetrain (you want)) should be followed by all of us, with a ban as result if we dont comply. Why not give all the people that think you cannot drift AWD and FWD a nice big star, and put us on trains...

I agree how it's our team thread where we should be able too write what we want. But according to the AUP only drifting stuff can be posted due to people not understanding or it not making sense. I miss some crazy say what you want team threads on forza. Being honest its not that different just less rules but I hardly see it effect things when half the people are foreign and are used to spelling with text language and short hand as they can't speak proper english.

End of rant and I propose the motion for our own team thread/web.

You merely have to stick to the topic of the thread and/or forum. Every large forum of this kind is this way. If it wasn't, it would be chaos around here, and frankly I wouldn't be here at all. I've been to plenty of forums that do allow you to talk about anything you want in any thread. They either don't last long, or do not attract many members due to the mess and unorganized nature of such a system.

All drivetrains can drift, period. Especially RWD and AWD. What is the point of making fun of someone who drifts a different drivetrain than you, other than making yourself feel big?

Guess what, I drift RWD and AWD, and I always have. I made one of the most famous AWD drifting videos (GT3) "Countersteer Zero", and it was very well received. It wasn't until GT5 came out that all the ignorant people came out of the woodwork trying to claim it's "not drifting". Complete and utter shash.

No, there is not. Seriously, where are you getting this nonsense? The stickies are there to protect people, not to force them to have a specific opinion. You can have any opinion you want. However, if it's degrading to someone you CANNOT post it. What is so strange or unusual about that?

Wow, you managed to read it and completely miss the point. You can discuss drifting all drivetrains (as it clearly says). what you cannot do is jump on people that drift AWD's telling them it's not drifting. It IS drifting. Let me see if I can spell it out for you:

Any vehicle that can travel sideways IS drifting, by definition. I used to drift my competition ready 240sx Se Coupe (S13 One-Via) in local drifting competitions. Not one of the people I drifted with over the years would say AWD's can't drift. In fact, many of them would drift their AWD's (Mostly Subies) in their off time.

Again, where are you getting this nonsense. Many people from foreign countries do NOT understand text speak. I get reported posts and PM's from people constantly asking what something means, or asking me to tell the person to write so they can understand it (i.e English, not 133t speak nonsense).

Your arguments hold no water, I'm afraid.

Furthermore, if you guys are so unhappy here, and feel you shouldn't have to follow the rules, you are more than welcome to take it somewhere else. Let me know, and I'll close this thread and call it a day.

The thread closing is not needed we were just using the right of our freedom of speech. Just too point out not all forums are set as serious and as strict as this. This is all I'm saying but we have obviously wasted your time so we'll stick to these rules and post sensibly as usual and create a way for us to speak our off topic nonsense another place. 👍

If someone does not speak English as a first language, and they misspell something, that's completely fine. This is NOT what is being done in this thread, however.

You CAN capitalize your sentences, use comas, and refrain from using text speak (which is 133t speak. Just another way of saying it). This has nothing to do with your country of origin.

We only ask that people type to the best of their ability. It's when we see people typing fine, and then 2 posts later go right back to text speak, that is unacceptable. It's just lazy and completely unnecessary.

Everyone here agreed to the rules when you registered. Simple as that. It's very odd to me how someone can agree to the rules, and then bitch and moan about them. It's these rules that make this place what it is... The largest most active video gaming site of it's kind in the world.

For the most part, I can go anywhere in this forum and understand what is being discussed. Another popular forum I could mention does not have these rules, and thus is a mess, and filled with barely readable text speak nonsense (I'll let you figure out which forum I am speaking of).

I am seriously getting fed up off this childish behaviour shown right now. Why don't we stop bickering about this nonsense and put this behind us. Why argue over AWD and RWD drifting when we could be having a good time talking to each other. I understand that we should stay on topic because this thread is in the Drifting Forum. But why can't we talk about what we want to (EG: The Photomode Thread where I submitted a Photo).
 
Point taken and this is the best drama free drifting forum I've posted on. I just miss some nonsense once in a while. Especially when PSN is down.

Well I must say there are many people that have probably registered and not even read the AUP. I read it to ensure that I won't end up with a Ban of some sort. Mostly people that are under 12 would not even bother reading the AUP out of laziness.

@Meerly You saw my new 'Final Entry'. It's probably a LOT better than my old one. I also have a picture on Warm as well to compare which one I liked better. ;)

Honestly, this should be more common sense. However, due to a lot of other "lesser" sites, openly promoting bad grammar, text speak, flame wars, etc... a dynamic has been created where everyone thinks that should be ok everywhere else.

Update...

For those who have seen my S13 in the past.The body color is now pink, the rims have changed, and the hood is now naked carbon fiber. Just wanted to see how it looks on the forums.👍






Yup... Members and others will be seeing this S13 in action whenever the PSN is fixed. :sly:​
 
Come on guys, everyone just put the rules arguement behind you. I had nothing to do with the arguement (or the previous one), so I would be a very displeased leader if this thread got shut down on behalf of the members of this team. We are lucky enough that they even have these forums for us to use at our own free-will. If anyone knows how to make a team website, then send me a PM and we'll get down to business. Until then, please obey the rules.
