AR MAX gamesaves using CD-R

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere - I've searched and searhced but couldn't find it.

I have an AR MAX CD (not the usb plug in drive) and want to know if I can download game saves onto a CD-R on my PC and then load them up on the PS2. I've been all over the codejunkies site and can't find any instructions. The instruction manual I have says to check out the 'downloads' section of codejunkies.com for details - and there isn't one!

Can anyone please clear it up for me - I don't want to go and buy a USB drive if I can use CD-Rs.

I thought the CD-R was for the code list. I could be wrong but I think that is the only option. Are you able to download any saves for other games at Codejunkies like that?

The same goes with the usb drive. I've tried and tried to find a recent download. There is a download section, but it was last updated feb. last year, so there's not much hope, Sorry!

The PAL code download is apparently updated to include GT4 though the date does not reflect it.

That's what i had thought, but i downloaded it, and nope, no sign of gt4!
