Last Week Tonight with John Oliver started it's new season last night and of course the main topic is Trump. One of the things covered is what USAID does and does not do. That freak job press secretary has a list of items that she accuses USAID of spending money for.

I sure hope everyone that's been wrongly fired by President Musk gets a fat raise before returning to their job. I'm sure there's plenty of positions that probably don't need to exist, but the way they've gone about this is just the absolute dumbest.

What was merely hinted at in Trump's first term has now become explicit: Trump admires Putin (and Kim Jong Un and Xi Jinping), and despises the leaders of the western democracies. He sends J.D. Vance to Europe to lecture them on their wokeness, while serving up Ukraine to Putin as punishment for Zelensky's failure to indict the Biden "crime family".
The western democracies have been infantilized by 80 years of deferring to the US militarily and politically. They need to put on their big boy pants, stop trying to normalize & appease Trump and act together to counter the US. Trump's America no longer embodies post Second World War democratic values.

Trump really does his best at blaming Ukraine for the war, I am sure his best buds Putin and friends are very satisfied.
"I think I have the power to end this war, and I think it's going very well. But today I heard, 'Oh, well, we weren't invited.' Well, you've been there for three years," Trump told reporters at his Mar-a-Lago resort. "You should have never started it. You could have made a deal."

Trump is not just a very very horrible person, he is the guy who blames the victim for being raped. The damage this man is going to inflict on the world will be catastrophic and cause so much suffering and death.
The outcome of the war in Ukraine will set the bar for the next years security situation in Europe, and I am not surprised if we will see a large scale military conflict in five years time in the baltic region. With Trump giving EU the boot and handing the victory in Ukraine to Putin, I see this as a very possible and very horrific outcome, depending on what the US and Russia decides behind Ukraines and Europes back.

The positive thing about Trumps unhinged behavior is that Europe is finally realising that we need to stand on our own two feet and can't be at the mercy of the US population voting moron A or moron B into the white house.

Can you explain why you call him 0.957? Genuine question, I have no clue what you're referring to and I feel like I'm missing a joke here 😅
I'm not really seeing it. He mainly looks a bit less orange in that video to me, making him look almost human. Maybe that makes it more noticable that he just doesn't look particularly healthy in general.
