Are there racing mods for GT3?

Hey all I just got GT3 about 5 days ago and have been going through the courses pretty quickly.  I noticed a few things and just wanted to verify.  In GT2 most if not all of my cars I have Race modified.  Is that not possible in GT3 aslo.  They have a section for 80's cars, but I don't see any used I can buy.  Did they take all of that stuff out?  Oh and I am guessing you can't repeat a race over to get a specific car you can sell am I right?

Sorry man,no you can`t upgrade any cars to race versions.You can only win actual race cars.
I am sure there are some 80`s cars like in nissan the older silvia is for sale.The toyota sprinter trueno gt apex is from the 80`s.
I`m not too sure about all of them but there are some in there.
