Physical retail copy release date in Italy was 21st from the beginning. Everywhere. I bought it in Amazon.

I suspect I'll be home during the morning, if only because I'll most likely be up late, along with a bunch of other WMD-ers, providing unofficial tech support on the forums and Steam chat. To be fair, I'm pretty certain it will be a much easier affair than first time around - went to bed at 2 or 3am as I recall, with some of the other European WMD guys helping out until 6am .

In fairness, there are actually areas where this is a serious and working method. Had somebody from IBM (I think) at university and they said when an issue arose in a database, this was the first step to revert it to the most recent status. IIRC

Aww that sucks, those pesky jobs eh. Still though they do pay for those fancy boys toys (& girls). Hopefully you'll get a chance to grab the odd day, but somehow I get the feeling that you'll get plenty of wheel time soon enough.

I have four days of work coming up and then four days of Project Cars 2.
I have only a dinner to attend on the 22nd and a quick meeting on the 25th, other than that
I've taken those two days off work. Here's hoping that installing the game will be a
breeze and that any patches will download easily too. And above all no bugs or online
troubles.

Check the PC2 Q&A. Ian Bell and The American said they are aiming to release the game with the least bugs that are reasonable. There are going to be bugs, but stuff that's manageable.

I have a little 4 hour job Friday morning from 4am-8am(ish). I have a few small commercial cleaning contracts and can't actually take time off. But after 8am Fri I'm off
