Hey guys. I'm going to have to sit this one out. I don't have a livery ready for my car. I want to do it right. Rushing it hours before Tee Time is not fun for me, nor in the cards. See in the next round I hope. Enjoy!

That was so much fun. Thanks to all drivers.
There were great battles all the way down the field. Nobody was safe from a bad week if their rival was keeping up the pace. Close racing all around. Just what we were aiming for. :)

Thanks to the BOD for a great job on the BOP and ballast regulations. It looks like it's going to be a great season.

Agreed! That GT300 field was tightly packed every time we went by. Good racing you guys.

I had a blast with NinetyTres. On the super fast turn and the long straight my lack of power couldnt keep me close but then I'd reel him in on the technical turns. Tough battle for sure.

I am really going to be feeling all this weight and loss of power at Tokyo Drag Strip. Lol

Agreed, it was a great time, some good racing with both Guido and Whitey. Traded places with Whitey a few times and Guido knows how to make that Ferrari wide.

Also, apparently fuel management isn't something the McLaren contingent isn't particularly good at, since I took full fuel at the stop when I should have gotten about 82 percent instead. :banghead:

Overcompensation for our other McLaren brother.

That's nuts. I only took about 70% which was still way more than I needed and I lost time to you through the pit sequence. You had some serious laps in there to nullify the fuel issue.

It was strange how we all rubber banded throughout the race. I would have average laps and still gain ground and then have heroic laps and lose ground. Sometimes a 4 second gap would disappear in a lap or 2 with no mistakes being made and then sometimes a 0.8 gap would hold steady for laps. I had no idea how to process this race. I just had to ignore everything around me and focus on my drive.

Yeah, on the fuel thing I knew I could run faster laps with empty track so went in early. Gained some time in those two laps.

I thought it would be 38-39 laps, so planned for 39. In practice I would pit at lap 19 or 20 and fuel for 19 or 20 laps, which would be 76 or 80%. When I pitted I had 28, and brain said I need about 84. Then small panic I only had room for 72% more fuel, I filled and planned on saving. As I left the pits it clicked that I needed total of 84 not 84 more. On the replay it took me 2.7s to go from 84 to 100 so ate almost 3s in the pits for stupidity.

I noticed the rubber banding as well, and it seems our (you, me, Guido) synced our hero laps. I would be having a great lap, and the gap would be steady to you and Guido. I'd make small mistakes and gain ground, definitely odd.

Really good race though. Had a very fun sequence over 5 or 6 laps with you where you overtook, then I followed and a couple laps later I started an overtake at T1 and we were side by side for half of the lap til I finally finished the overtake going into 100R.
