So one night, my friends and I were returning from causing some kind of mayhem or other, only for one of them to find that his new Nissan Frontier had been stolen (What a terrible shame.....) He used the insurance payout to buy one of these. (Ok ok, so it was a '68 SS covered in rust and primer, you get the picture) After pouring considerably more money into it, it became blue, and ran properly. Then he sold it and bought a..........used BMW 540:banghead:

To this day, it is the most masterful bit of IRL trolling I have ever seen.

This car feels like cheating. The AYC is just amazing. It is interesting the way that you gain ground on other cars, even when you are off the throttle. One of my friends thinks that it feels a little bit like steering a bobcat.

Its a little wild for unflat track like trial mountain Fey?

It's just wild in general. The diff settings were a real nightmare. Despite my best efforts the car always wants to spin up the outside tire first. I suspect that the "pendulum effect" is probably contributing to this.

I tried it out on Trial Mountain- the only place where it really gave me trouble was exiting the tunnel - phew!

For bumpier, high speed tracks like Trial Mountain, change the rear toe to 0.06 for greater stability. I managed a 1:33.682 after changing that.

Also, the trick with this car is to hold it on
part throttle starting just after you turn in. It is more stable on the throttle than off.

Seriously though, I was going to get around to doing one of these eventually (400R doesn't count.) I've always liked the lines of the R32 the best, and I think it looks rather striking in yellow. '89 R32's are now legal for importation into the States. As tempting as it sounds, I keep having to repeat to myself "it's still a 25 year old car...it's still a 25 year old car." :(

My dad has one of these. Last time I had my car worked on at MV Performance, (who will make your car go very, very fast) he was kind enough to give me a lift to go pick it up. While I went inside to collect the keys, my dad started chatting up the owner, who gently and calmly suggested to my father that the simple addition of a centrifugal supercharger to the S2000 was just what the doctor ordered. Of course, this is something that I fully support.
