Assetto corsa coming to PS4 and Xbox one

my report:
- giulia dashboard doesn't properly work
- game crashed twice (giulia at vallelunga, 488 gt3 at laguna. both in practice mode)
- huayra bc is undriveable due to shifting glitch (originally present on the standard huayra)

Every time I launch the game it starts to download the update, & I have to go to the Notifications icon & choose Cancel & Delete it. The only way to make sure it doesn't auto download is to make sure my router is off.

Only way to prevent this is by not having enough space. Its why mine isn't updating.

Yes, the option is somewhere in the PS4 settings... You can choose between automatic updates or manual.

I cant stand the floating cars from rear cam. And how the front of the cars bounces around like a speed boat on water. Not sure if its a ps4 thing or not.

The car sounds are pretty cool ffb is good but just needs to a be a bit heavier for my liking.

It seems like they dont have the resources to compete with the big boys.

You do not need to switch off your router. The PS4 network settings have a check mark for leaving the console online / offline.

All my auto update settings are off anyway, but the game still tries to update every time I launch it.

In the three forums I follow (this one, official and spanish one) I think I've never seen since the game was released such frustration and unanimous agreement that the update is a failure.

It's also the first time I've been afraid to update the game. It sounds like they have broken more than they have added.

Zero problems for me after the update (ps4).Also the problem should not be a car/track combo but something else in the update.
I did test Laguna & cars for 4 hours straight after the update but nothing went wrong.

Accelerate and shift gears in the Pagani BC.

No I am not.Still I did not use every possible car/track combo.Plus me not having a problem -yesterday- does not mean there is no problem -or that I wont have problems today-.I said it must be something more that just car/track combo that causes those problems.
The really weird thing is how did this update got the ok from SONY since its has problems ....💡

I also wonder how many people that report problems got the game digital.
Because there are actually people that cannot use the sim at all.Did they got the digital version (example)?

So I avoided the problem car (C7R) and I was able to do multiple practice runs and a quick race this morning on Laguna Seca without issues. Really nice to have this track.

Need to set my shifter back up to h-pattern and give it a go with some classic cars.

I was thinking the same thing.Poor timing and its the end of the road for AC -at least for concoles- ...

I think the issue is them announcing it after the latest update basically broke most of the game.

That's a problem for those who already purchased the game. I cannot imagine it hasn't been fixed once the Ultimate Edition releases in two months time. It would have been poor timing if the bundle had been released to coincide with the bad update, but I see no problem in a simple announcement.
