PS5 Pro support I think you will get, I wouldn't hold my breath for PSVR2 support (given the lack of support from racing titles for it).

It would be a major gain, will certainly be interesting once it arrives on the 2nd or 3rd early access update.

If they can it would be great, PSVR2 owners need more love from racing titles, no idea what the issues have been that have stopped others, but I suspect its a resource and time cost vs projected additional sales issue.

To be honest, given the PC you would likely need to produce mod content, you would be able to run ACE on it as well.
Totally agree about resources being the reason for lack of VR content, that's my guess of it anyway. Regarding the mods, I was actually thinking more about raising funds to hire a team to do a proper job rather than on my pc. The objective being so it could officially be added by kunos which would then be on console too. All my friends play on console so if I want to drive and race local roads with them it has to be on console.

I just figured out how they avoid under selling the game to most buyers. They can make the early access free to play and charge full price when the full game launches. Makes also sense as marketing demo..

According to early access info this Steam info is incorrect..View attachment 1421347
I was about to post something about this, but mainly humorous. At least people in the mod threads will be able to fight with each other in AC Evo's PVP mode.

This... doesn't bode well:

Why not? This is normal for a release along with the Steam 'Coming Soon' - Just be patient
That's their brand-new Assetto Corsa EVO website, which launched perfectly well just two days ago.

And indeed their whole website has gone down, to be replaced with a GoDaddy landing page...

I'm not aware of that being normal fare, and patience doesn't really enter into it as I'm merely sharing information.

So you think they are going to come out and say actually we are going to delay the Early Access?

I'm not saying they wont, nothing is impossible but not sure why everyone is jumping to conclusions because it does not launch bang on time. Have they even specified an exact time?

So you think...
No. No interpretation is needed.

I'm sharing the fact that at the moment of the Early Access launch - which hasn't happened - their brand-new game sub-site and entire website, both of which were perfectly functional not a minute before, have gone down and been replaced with GoDaddy landing pages.

This, as I said, does not bode well. I can't think of many reasons why that would happen, and none of them are terrific news.

You can add 505 games website to that list.

Sounds like some people are having trouble getting the game to start, that's always the issue with early access on PC, there are so many combinations of GPU, CPU, RAM etc. Speed of data reads and so on. Hopefully people start ot figure out some of the common bugs/issues pretty quickly and find workarounds and a patch is released quickly for those.

Set up my wheel but it keeps going back to keyboard and mouse, and car just keeps revving as if some other control is using throittle, Logitech G Pro

Just the single player with the Fiat.

Some fast impressions from few laps with the Fiat on Bathurst.

  • Sounds nice
  • controls on controller feels good (with this car)
  • graphics, okay i gues not blown away for now car models seems good overal a bid stale or something..... Motorsport seems allot nicer overall for example
  • performance seems okay but some stutters here and there on 4k native alle max around 90fps but not that smooth.... But thats alone on track sooooo..... So not that great for now

Rtx 4080 Super / 7800x3d / 32gb ram 6000 mhz cl30

Unsure if it's a bug or my PC or what, but performance with AI is abysmal
RX 6600 / 5700x3D / 16GB

On practice mode on medium settings I get 60+ easily. However even with 10 AI cars the performance crashes to literally 15FPS. I was interested on trying it in VR but seeing this I won't bother for now.

Also needing to be connected online to do licenses, rent cars, etc. is a major bummer. Really hoping that's just early access shenanigans and the full game won't be stupidly limited like that.

From the devs for anyone wondering why they can't see all the cars and access certain game modes:

Developer: Network Issues Restricting Number of Cars

We're aware of network issues which are causing the game to go into offline mode.

This means that the number of cars in game are restricted to the 6 starter cars, until it is resolved.

We're working on this as a matter of urgency and hope to bring a resolution to you as soon as possible.
