Version 0.1.3 of Assetto Corsa EVO is now live. This includes:

fixed Settings-Controls UI page issue preventing correct visualization for bound controls icons

added axis visualization into the Settings-Controls UI page

Car customization is now enabled in offline mode (thumbnails remain in original colors). This allows users to customize their cars for showroom visualization and single player game modes

The team is now focusing on additional fixes and the introduction of online mode and its related features.

Thank you for your participation in the Early Access Program

You can choose color of stitching in the interior. For example. Especially with the Ferrari 296, you can go down the config rabbit hole, like in real life. Total crazy, I love it.

I found the DF video I mentioned earlier, should start at 3:17:

Games with DLSS should look significantly better when the new transformer DLSS releases via the Nvidia driver update on 30th Jan, the new transformer model works on 20 series onwards.

Well, I managed to map a rear-view camera to the button of the gamepad's left stick. But can someone help me map the right and left views to the same stick? (they are not recognized as buttons).

Also, are the car's mirrors adjustable? Because the central mirror of the Ford Escort Cosworth is pointing to the C-pillar and thus is rather useless.

Is DLSS still relevant if you natively play in 4k tho?
Depends what frame rate you want! It's possible that DLSS in quality mode will give better image quality than native. That was already the case for some games with the CNN model, so I expect it to be true for more games, maybe even all games, with the new transformer model.

(Why can it give better image quality than native? DLSS is trained on data sets of native 8k images and their lower resolution counterparts, so it generates a 4k image by upscaling to 8k then downsampling to 4k, which can give better image quality than native 4k if the upscaling/reconstruction of the 8k image is sufficiently good.)

I thought it was only upscaling to 4k, in which I didnt see the point to "upscale" 4k into 4k

Even though DLSS has greatly improved with each generation, I've yet to see it improve image quality over the native resolution of my monitor. Unless you have to use because your framerate is struggling, I would not recommend it to anyone using a top tier video card. I always suggest lowering the settings in game, over enabling DLSS. The picture just looks grainy and inconsistent.

For the 2 games they tested that I own, I agreed with Hardware Unboxed's assessment here at the time:

Hitman 3 was better than native and FH5 worse than native, in my own comparison, so I have no reason to doubt their assessment of the other games.

I tried running my main monitor which is 4K at 1440p and enable DLSS but indeed it was super grainy!!
Might be becuase its 3inches from my DD therefore close to my eyes, but didnt like it and reverted it back to 4K
