Well a quick mess around again but will try to spend more time on the next one. but better than nothing.
Not every car has these templates though, but its easier than the old forza one and i used to love that. This is similar process to trading paints.
Would be a great feature of CM. I could spend ages just making liveries in forza 3 / 4.

Stays as a text file and can't be unzipped for me, even after renaming it to data.rar.

I bought this Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.3/GT3 converted from SPORT by an Italian modder I heard about in a Facebook post for €4, but sadly its skin looks messed up because he modified it like those URD/RSS/VRC cars:

Is someone of you here capable of reskinning it like the original one from that game and perhaps create a template for it too? Would love to make an itasha skin for it honestly. Here's the car I posted on my Drive:

What the hell is a 'Harpy 4'? Is that just what this Italian modder has decided to rebrand an Alfa 4C to? Why not just call it an Alfa 4C GT3? Weird.
Is it definitely converted from GT Sport?

Maybe your rar version is too old? I don't know what is wrong then. So you rename data.txt to data.rar and you can't decompress it like every rar file?

I tend to use 7zip, not winrar. Would that matter?

Hi gents,

I cant remember who was looking for a Porsche 964 a few days ago. I found it at assettoland but with weird data.
From this page https://www.automobile-catalog.com/car/1993/2865290/porsche_911_carrera_rs_3_8.html I modified the data and the performances as well as the display (underestimated) of the rev counter. The hardest part was changing the size of the tires and rims and keep the wheels sticking to the road

Bit strange Masscot. I use 7-Zip too, but I didn't have any problem opening the file once I changed the extension to .rar

I did not try this one (not at my rig for another 10 days or so) but I had the same experience as Masscot, while I'm using Win-zip (latest version). Renaming does not help and I cant upzip these things.

Just double-checked to make sure I was using the same 'problem file' (from post #15793) and I'm definitely able to open the .rar with 7-Zip... so the mystery continues! The only thing that may be different is that I downloaded the file on my MAC, though still unpacked it successfully on my PC.

Hi from Portugal!
I have an issue with a recently aqquired mod from SimDream, the F12001 mod. My issue has (I guess, far from having even a basic knowledge) something to do with LOD´s. From a distance the driver sits too high in the cockpit and the helmet almost reaches the main air duct. Closer, the driver "moves" to where he should be. Is there any way to fix this? I hope the pics may illustrate what I´m trying to describe

Hi, sometimes happen to me too, mostly with shader patch enabled, it's a bug combination between lod's and F.O.V setting in replay tv camera, it's happen to me in pit on barhain circuit in replay mod, no idea to solve it

F1 2009 Sim Dream re-work done.
Cars shaders updated, Cars shadows fixed, Rain light added , Physics ( Tyres, Cars Weight ) fixed, 3d Models fixed to match physics, data.acd fixed, ui fixed, all helmets and visors created ( driver_80 model ) and a lot of minors stuffs corrected.
To do...maybe, if somebody help me, proper rims blur, brake disc glow ( 3d object are really mess )
