I have downloaded the Velo car from his facebook a long time ago when he released it and gave constructive feedback about some issues regarding the cockpit model having a couple of holes and some physics related issues.
Unfortunately he wasn't very interested in trying to improve on these issue and given how bad the car was in its state back then I never touched it again.

Is it in any better condition now - where there any updates over time?

A lightweight E-type certainly would be awesome!

There's a version @safi hellie had out a long while ago when we had first started tinkering around with getting the car BoP'd to the TCL class.
I finally got back to fixing what I had after getting the wheels and tyres scaled down. I couldn't take it that say, driving in the Toyota 2000, looking out the side window, the tyres of the E-Type were taller than the view out the windshield. It looked wrong to me. That's the only model change though.
I have two versions I use, one for a mid 60's Le Mans/Daytona grid and the other for a scaled back match with the TC Legends pack. Physics have been redone. What were the issues you had with the original car?

Why not doing all that for @GzeroD F1 gtr then? If those are the two from Assettoland, they have wrong proportions.That's pretty easy to see loading them in showroom with other gt1 cars or with Kunos' f1 gtr

Erm, what are you on about, 'pretty easy to see' in such a patronising way? There's nothing wrong with my eyesight. You do know that @GzeroD 's F1 GTR uses exactly the same model as Francois Besse's cars (both from Project CARS, I think)? And of course the proportions will look different to Kunos's F1 GTR - theirs is not the Longtail. They are totally different cars, so are bound to look different. There's nothing wrong with the proportions of these Longtails but @GzeroD's car does have a few issues that Besse's cars don't, like a proper shifting animation and timing, hands that actually grip the steering wheel, and LCD digits that aren't floating in space. These things alone make it pretty unusable in VR. Legion knows I love his work so won't be offended but the Besse car is a much better base to work from as it doesn't need a bunch of fixes applying first.
@GzeroD it might be worth borrowing the Besse car (and driver) and applying your BoP and physics to it - it's in a much better physical shape.

I picked the 370z at random and although the cockpit looks like ass, it's a solid drive. Not sure where the 'hillclimb' bit comes in (apart from providing an excuse to stick a massive wing on the back) but the gearing is perfect for Spa.
The exterior model is not bad either, but the liveries are pretty low-res.

I'll try a few and see how they stack up. If they're nicely BoP'd then they could be good for large-grid races, as I imagine the models aren't very demanding even without LODs.
Edit: holy crap, the 370z has three LODs too.
Not complaining, but why do you need LODs on a hillclimb car, lol..?

I didn't want to mean anything more than what I wrote and I wasn't questioning your sight nor I think I have said anything like that. I just tried myself resizing those two and ended up getting many errors for the way those mods were made and then tried Legion's one and found it more accurate dimensions wise. So yes, of course Legion's one isn't perfect either, but since you were talking about improving those two I wanted to suggest improving that one. It was just based on my personal experience since I made many tries to work on those two without any good result. I also now it is different from the regular gtr but I mean I could clearly see something was off (my sight is fine too). So at the end mine was just a suggestion based on my experience without any extra meaning

NP, and apologies, I didn't mean to snipe. The models are all from Project CARS so are as accurate as can be expected from SMS, ie, pretty accurate. Certainly not wrong enough that proportions can be critiqued with the naked eye.
From what I can tell the Besse cars are identical to Legion's, but without several issues that Legion's currently has.
Can I ask why you tried to resize the cars? For what purpose?
Did you find that Legion's car and Besse's cars had different dimensions? They should be exactly the same.

Hey guys, just trying to get through a couple uploads I need to do here, the first one on my list is a slightly improved v1.1 version of the Lexus LFA GT1 tune I did a month or so ago. The car back then had bad tires but I've replaced them with some better ones from GIBBON's tire machine. It uses 2000's GT compounds like the Maserati does, and it includes hard, medium and soft. I've also included two extra SGT test skins that someone posted to wetransfer a while ago but aren't available anymore due to the 14 day limit on there. I forgot who it was exactly that posted it, so apologies.

So yeah, besides those two changes, it features all the old stuff like the LFA V10 sound from RaceDepartment and the new drivetrain tweaks I made, so expect around 600 horses in a body that weighs 1100 kilos. The whole thing is included this time to make installation a little easier, so you may need to delete the old car before you install this one.

(Don't mind the google drive file being labelled as test, that's the one I decided to go with and I was too lazy to change the folder name)

Often the way with these rallyworld cars - I do wonder where they originally come from and what makes them worthy of the Hillclimb tag but sometimes there's one or 2 keepers hidden in the dumps. As @Fanapryde has said he has most of these anyways and looking at my list I'd say I do too but no harm having an additional one with a massive rear wing
If anyone wants me to take a look at making better quality skins for nay let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Those hillclimb cars are a real mixed bunch and quality varies considerably. Some of them (eg the lovely-looking S15) just seem to be widebody drift cars, complete with original drift physics.
A few are good for a blast around in an arcadey sort of way but I don't think any of them will survive any sort of close scrutiny.
I was hoping the Scirocco would be a new model but unfortunately it's the same jumble of 8-bit pixels that's been regurgitated in many different forms.

While trying to add missing ghost line for track, I tried different naming scheme to see what is working and what is not. But I found a case that I clearly don't understand. For the track rafaela (Autodromo Ciudad de Rafaela), when I add an object named 01PITS, it's a no go. If I use 10PITS or 15PITS, it's ok, it works !? For another track (Anglesey Circuit), using 01PITS work without a glitch. Can somebody explain me where does come the issue ?

edit : and another question, I've been able to figure it out how to fix hotlap timing issue (when crossing s/f line for the firt time count as a whole lap) So I create an extra kn5 with the missing AC_TIME objects and add the entry in models.ini
But will it make the track mismatch online ?

So no hidden gems this time round...it's like the lottery you win £3.35 and sometimes you win nothing (I actually won euromillions last night and I got £3.35 - won't be buying an island with that)

I think it is also very enjoyable for the far distance views, the colorful Czech flowers and driving through the dense forest. Did you already know this beta? Worth to install!

Some of these cars look quite perfect to make GT4/GT3 versions... Like the Toyota 86 GT4 that is just a regular 86 qith some wings while this one looks like a proper GT car or the 307Z for the same reason (the 370Z GT4 has normal cockpit with passenger seat!)

Everyone has their preferences and that's what makes AC so good.....there's something for everyone out there. I quite like a hillclimb track if it's done properly with timing and a way to get back down to the start - Harewood is a good example of this but need a little bit of touching up to make it perfect.

I'm sure I had the Simtraxx version of Hradek a long time ago so I'm wondering if this is a new one from someone else. I don't have it installed anymore though so I'm gonna install the Beta version you posted.
