Hi Masscot ! ;-)

I tried it very shortly and my first thought wasn’t enthusiast but... I tried it (too) very shortly.
I will try it very seriously later because I like to share some thoughts about the mods, It’s up to me !

I passed my time on AC with other cars like the Ariel Atom on Magione... CRAZY ! ^^

So, I saw yesterday videos of a very interesting mod called « ALFA 156 Extreme WTCC ».
Is there someone who tested it and could give me their thoughts !?
It’s the same modder wich made the « Alfa 4C Competizione » and, as Wusel said previously, It’s a really good one, great pleasure to drive and... to hear ! ;-)

Cheers. ;-)

I tell you what, I'm LOVING the BZ Simworks Acura NSX that released at the weekend (and being updated today, apparently). Anyone else here tried it?

Hummm, I’m not a part of any FB group because, I haven’t any FB account but... follow the white rabbit. ;-)

... not the white rabbit in « Monty Python’s Holy Grail » !

I found a GT1 mod I would like to use (when my pc will be shipped) but it should be for an old version of the game, will it works anyway?

Its a complete mess, I really wouldnt bother if I was you. It just has mismatched physics and ffb that clipped a worrying amount.

The model was taken from Race 07, no changes to the model. The Aero model is taken from the m3 gt2 with slight adjustments. I tried working with the guy as did fordman but it was clear they didnt want any help with the tcr cars they are doing at the moment. Its a shame but what can I do. Its just another very low effort job which ends up driving nothing like the car should.

RTM « products » (!!!) are really a shame !
The physics are made with « fake difficulty » as « Come on, for the BIG cars with a lot of horsepower, put the maximum torque with a huge differential » and for the low cars « Come on, low brakes, rear front « from outer space » and YOLO !

Well, ripped OK but with some talent and RTM has just the « talent » for money... unfortunately !!!

Yes I've heard first version was a big mess but the link I posted should be a newer version with improved physics. At least that's what someone on youtube said. I kinda like how the car behave on the video, not tried by myself yet but I will.

Well, I'm back about the mod "Acura NSX-FE" by BZ, tested with the "S1" and the up to date version, on "Kunos Silverstone GP" track and... I still disappointed and unhappy by driving.
I will not write about cosmetics or sounds, only my feeling as an experimented virtual driver.

I began seriously to drive (not to "push") the car and I thought "Humm, the FF is weird, I only feel the front wheels and when there is an overspeed, the car became a... hovercraft !"
Well, I continued and suddenly... "Uhuuu, this car is only alive by the front wheels, that's it !"

So, I don't trust this car to "push" it with pleasure, this car is not well "alive" for me. ;-)

EDIT
I like the flames in this mod ! ;-)

It will absolutely work. If it doesn't, let me know and I'll fix it for you...Unless you also install Content Manager as soon as your PC comes in - then you can "fix" it too with the Analyze function. That function can't do anything about improving quality or accuracy & realism...it can only fix parameters that might crash AC and parameters that are out of date. But, it will be driveable. I'm so surprised that car didn't receive an update to modernize it & fix the physics - it was a quite popular & successful race car. But hey, at least we have 1,200 Porsche 911's to choose from.

This is how RTM makes mods from "scratch".

Just wow. They couldn't even bother to tweak the shaders some - when the reflections are 100% identical it's just about impossible to claim you didn't use someone else's model. Oh wait...They added a front plate! If it weren't so sad, it would be funny how these a-holes go around making claims of infringement when they're the biggest offenders out there...because they're making money off of someone else's work.

Sadly, that's part of the reason why Darek will no longer upload his mods to his private Facebook group. Another great modder lost because of awful people like RTM and the many other mod reuploaders.
Now that really sucks. He was one of the good guys. He put research into his mods...unlike the FB groups who "release" 10 mods a day. The CTRL-C & CTRL-V keys must be worn out with those "modders". Wow...I'm really bummed about that.

Got the link? Or is this another one of those private only mods? I hate facebook so I'm not gonna create an account just to download a car.

His previous Focus Superpack and C63 AMG were amazing to drive so I have high hopes for this.

BTW, someone made a mod of the 919 EVO based off the stock Kunos model:
https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/porsche-919-evo.20614/

Faster than anything around the Nurb except the X2010

Subaru Impreza Time Attack, not the Legacy GT300 2010. But thanks for helping. :)
Really annoying the story of that Legacy Subaru. Some of you may know I'm part of the Chivas team and have tried the Supra we threw out in the past month or so. We asked for help modelling a chair and for some sounds and the model gets stolen and released without our permission. We will still release it though at some point I hope.

I wasn’t aware about your situation with Chivas so... thank you very much for the quality and the passion in your works.

Now, I understand that you are able to evaluate the bad and the good in the « space modding » and It’s a very good thing, in my opinion.

Cheers. ;-)

That"s what should do Assettoland in the future. Remove any credits from RTM mods, change one number and put in description is maked from scratch. And RTM can suck them. :gtpflag:

And the real EVO is more streamlined for aerodynamic efficiency.
does a model alone change the aerodynamic efficiency? I know nothing about stuff like that intressting... But it makes sense like in Source the thickness of something alone determines if you can shot through it or not. Man now i realise this was extremly obvious because AC runs also in an engine.... i`m dumb lol

Aerodynamic efficiency and downforce are very easy to simulate propperly. Porsche itself posted the increase of those two in % with respect to the regular 919. And 2016 919 (the one KS did with factory data) should be identical to the 2017 919, as Toyota and Porsche agreed to freeze the development on aerodynamics until the next regulation.

Anyone knows if this mod has DRS? The real 919 EVO does.

Everyone Under Jimmys video says that the mod does not have DRS but someone said you can add it easly;
Adding drs is really easy. You just need to add drs.ini to data with [WING_1] EFFECT=[Amount 0-1] [WING_2] EFFECT=[Amount 0-1]
