She looks the same with me. These guys usually had good mods. But they did this disgusting. I just deleted this model ... trash ...

this is how my " ks_mercedes_amg_gt3_2020" looks on track, it looks fine in CM Showroom.
What should I do to fix it?

This is working fine for me, hopefully this will work great for others that are having issues. Newest updated with all available skins and a way to make previews.

Can anybody tell me, how to get back to the animated steeringwhell in cockpit view?
I changed a couple of things in content manager and now the steering wheel doesn't move anymore.

I can never get Lilski's Watkins Glen to work. Ive downloaded it like 3 times, wont even show up in my track list. Really frustrating bc it looks fantastic and Watkins Glen is one of my all time favorites. Used mod manager and it always says it installs fine so idk what im missing. Road America works so idk what gives. :(

I initially had issues getting it to work for me. I think you have to have the "lilski watkins glen" folder as the one that shows up when you look at the "tracks" folder if I remember correctly.

 I'm getting a blurred objects error message and game crash when trying to load a mod in a drive session. The mod loads fine in CM showroom. Any suggestions on how to track this one down for correction:confused:

Update: Problem fixed, I had to edit the blurred objects ini :embarrassed:

Just manually install it. I personally wouldn't rely on CM to install everything.

I have it installed in the mods folder and activated. I think that's how it's supposed to be installed.

Is anybody else in here using G-Sync with their monitor(s)? Just got upgraded and am having some really good experience. Wondering if anyone else is finding advantage to this. Currently running 2K 120hz FPS ~60. Can run 4K 120hz at around FPS ~40 but the G-Sync keeps it a fairly smooth run still.

I can't live without G-Sync or ULMB.:D

GzeroD (Legion) has updated the infamous Ferrari 312T8 and Alfa Romeo 12C-36.

legion_312t8-jpg.924006

- Each front wheel now pivots on its own axis.

legion_12c36-jpg.924005

- Animated suspension, and minor tweaks.

Meanwhile at RD, Nicecuppatea released an update for the Bugatti Type 32 (v1.2).

This update is mainly to add more appropriate headgear and gloves to the driver model but I took the opportunity to fix and add a few things.

INSTALL NOTE: Content manager drag and drop seems to ignore the new driver skins when installing so if you want them you need to install the archive manually, extract it to your ...\Steam\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa folder rather than the cars folder. It all still works if you'd rather use CM, you just lose the helmet skins.

updates:
- new driver_1923 using the standard Kunos model but kitted out with Nicecuppatea Vintage Racewear .
- added LODs C and D, still a bit chunky compared to Kunos standards but better than nothing...I hope.
- added a bit more head movement to the driver, inspired by a post by Joshua Prematta, driver should lean into the corners and look to the apex more in replays.
- included teddyator's Eliska Junkova skin (with his kind permission), which I meant to do in the last update but forgot because I'm increasingly old and befuddled . Amazing woman who deserves to be more widely known: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eliška_Junková
- reduced the engine volume to less ear-splitting levels and added a bit more engine noise to the internal sound, still hard to judge just what is the right volume level here but hopefully it's a step in the right direction.
- rationalised the textures a bit, drum brakes no longer share a texture with the rivets , separate textures for the wheels too.
- shaved a few thousand tris off of LOD A
- fixed a few rough spots but there's still plenty that could be smoother.
- lots of tinkering, noodling, and general mucking about.

I've tested the archive to make sure it installs properly, as I say do it manually if you want the driver skins, can't see anything glaringly wrong or missing but if you find anything please let me know. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

Hey Guys, can someone explain me why the TRACK LIGHTS have this halo around and expecially Monza track lights seam a unique light and not appear every single light (as they are on the Monza straight). They also are a bit faded as in the rt_Daytona track (you can see a really bad lighting system on the track with halos everywhere). How can I fix all this?
P.S. it not depends on the ppfilter, CSP 0.1.52 SOL 1.5.1
Sorry for bad english btw

What you show in the screenshots looks very much like one of the most amazing features of the SOL mod.
Depending on the actual weather you will see changes in how light scatters through the atmosphere due to particles in the air (such as very high humidity, haze, dust particles, etc).
Either you have selected:
- one of the weather types such as hazy or misty or dusty, etc ...
- a dynamic weather profile within the Sol weather app (which changed to one of the weather types mentioned)
- have ticked "Real conditions" in the Drive menu (which if weather reports of the actual location of the track shows one of the weather types)

I love how extremely realistic everything looks now with CSP and SOL and how I can simply hit the "Real conditions" button at my local race track in CM and THE EXACT WEATHER and atmospheric conditions are shown in the session as what I see when looking out of the window - I love this ;-)

Guys, someone posted a track called ledenon. I fixed the alpha transparency on the trackside objects and replaced the skyring mountains. Just a quick edit to quell my track collection OCD. Thought I'd share the edited one. Link here: ... [edit] Guys, grab this one that Fanapryde posted. It's much better. Thanks to Fanapryde.

ok guys....found some interesting stuff out....ill post some pictures later

i have the fm7 mesh lined up with the lidar data (if the lidar is to be taken as accurate)......it seems to me the problem with the perceived hump is actually because frog hollow depresses to much so what i think is happening is that part of the track dips down too much causing the "Hump" to seem like its jumping out at you while driving....the 2 tracks side by side are pretty damn near the same...the hump is almost exactly the same elevation as the lidar and after sullman both tracks follow each other perfectly.....when i get more time later i will post some pics from blender showing how frog hollow seems to dip below the lidar data then back up to sullman...its really subtle but this must be the hump that everyone is calling out

its good that you were able to figure that out, i never would have looked at frog hollow being the culprit

ok have a look, its tricky to see but this looks like the culprit for hump gate right here

let me know what you guys think

A few months ago I found this guy's website and took a chance on a few track mods, spent about $9 getting mostly indy street circuits and then Twin Ring Motegi. Every track I got was terrible. Most of them have no collision on the walls, terrible low poly surroundings and super bland repetitive textures. It was a real disappointment.

gutbomb, I actually bought all 100 of 'his' tracks. (I buy a lot of paymods, drives my wife crazy). Anyway, I went through and fixed or improved pretty much all of them because.. OCD. Since you bought them, if you want, I can share my fixed ones with you, if you're interested.

I was also waiting for this eagerly.
And yes, a lot is said about the price tag and some details, I won`t add to this discussion.
I just want to say, that I was lucky to drive on the road course in real live several times and in my opinion, this mod comes as close to this experience as a sim can get. That`s what counts for me. Can`t stop riding atm :D
Would you mind letting us know what car/cars you got to drive round the twin ring - I'm very envious ;)

I've had the track two days now, Mitja & URD have done a grand job, I'm sure it will get updates with a bit of spit 'n polish applied but as it stand it's rather good and anyway I needed it to complete my track list for the Super GT500 championship.... 10 quid well spent personally.

I bought Seven Hills and Vayline from him, as they were a couple of my favorites I had in GTR2 (I usually don't like fantasy tracks). I knew they were pretty much straight conversions from old titles without any improvements, but for $2 each, that was fine. I did catch a problem on Vayline, where the track side grass were physical objects (named 3dgrass), I sent him a message about it, and he corrected it immediately and sent me an updated copy. Seven hills is fun to drive with it's elevation changes and corners, but it could definitely use some work. Vayline can be a fast track once you figure out the right lines through most of the turns.

Did you make any additional improvements to Seven Hills or Vayline?

I have been around this forum for about 10 years now. I have never been a great poster, only posting when I think theres something to be said. I havent posted much in 8 years because I have become disolutioned with some of the childish members on other parts of the forum.
BUT.
I have to say I am not a modder, technology passed me by, hell I didn't get the memo about talking your phone to the bathroom. So I can't mod. However, the kindness and generosity shown to me in public and in private, restores my faith in the milk of human kindness, in this group.
To all of you that have helped and give freely, you have earned my respect and undying gratitude.

I salute you all
