Work on Season1990 V8 DTM Skins

__custom_showroom_1590537926.jpg

Hi!

I found a link in my language about new tcr cars: https://www.hvml.hu/bajnoksagok/assetto-corsa-tcr-hungary-bajnoksag/
you can download it under "letöltés", the renault megane tcr is included
My questions are:
Is there any tcr cars Im missing when i have the CIR,Rollovers,EATC, and the standalone Lada and Kia, and the awesome Shaun Clarke ones?
Does somebody have some skins for this cars?

Thanks in advance

thanks for sharing, some skin for renault?

I have an humble request for LiquidSkyMan. :embarrassed: Track - The outstanding Cathedral Rock International
When and if you don't mind, it would be fantastic an AI, that stopped braking at the 1st (wide and almost not), corner.
Tried with a few combos of cars and all of them brake in that zone, generating an easy way to overtaking the AI.

Thank you,

Mine doesn't work right either. Has to do with C++ or some other Windows background software. I mod all my cars manually though so I gave up.

Hey, I'm working on redoing the SimDream '94 DTM cars right now. Would you be interested in trying these skins for that car? This is basically just dressing up a road car, and the Stang could use some different shirts and pairs of pants.
Sure mate, yes the Mustang could use a face lift, i noticed the Aussie Bathurst one has a completely different front bumper, headlight design. All i was trying to do was make my pack look more authentic. Jim Richards BMW 635 from the ATCC pack needs re working, but the lack of any star rating on RD dos'nt encourage me much.

Well, you're not going to be wowed seeing as it's a Simdream GTR2 conversion but it's the closest thing we have to a proper looking '94 DTM Mustang and the other 3 cars are there to go along as well. I'll send it over.

No, this are all new actually. None of the older skins work on this. And they drive a little different too. I like how they drive, just tried the alfa. Nice find @HungarianBFG . There are some skins on the web page, user custom skins. You understand Hungarian, maybe those are available somwhere to download, in forum maybe (as i see thex have a forum section)?

Edit, ok not all are new. Cupra skins from Rollovers WTCR pack work for example.

Edit 2: Went testing one by one. Hyundai, Honda, Peugeot, Cupra are old and rollovers or maki & delpinsky skins work. Lync is "old" too. Alfa, Audi, Lada, VW and Megane are new.
Will check on the forum later today

Where are these cars from? Is the VRC '99 mod? Not sure I recognize the skins...

Only I have them, since I made them (1996 and 1997 seasons). I made those seasons ~10 years ago for rFactor but never released; I have been improving the skins gradually in the past few weeks since some were done in haste.

Ideally, I'd like to convert the 94 Lola and Reynard models (since simdream didn't). If I do that then that would be a total of seven CART seasons since I skinned 1991, 1992, 1993, plus the 1994 season in the original rF mod. Then AC would finally get its CART fix. VRC's mod is amazing but it's only 1999 and no one has painted other seasons for it.

Anyway, once I get the physics in a decent state I'll release them. That is a time consuming process though, so it won't be for a few more months since I'm busy with other things.

So essentially a "Cart Very Extreme" for Assetto Corsa, sounds cool to me!

Thank you,

I'll take a look at it. Will be at least a few days until I can tho. In the middle of a few projects right now like 🤬 , 🤬 , 🤬 and a new one by 🤬 that like @Masscot said previously, will take everyone by surprise ;) plus working on AI for ERL Londrina, and a few other private requests.

EDIT: I would have seen this a little sooner thru notifications, but U left the "d" out of my name :-)

How on earth did this thread get to page 1200 so quickly? It's only just over a month since everyone was saying '1000 pages. Woo Hoo!'

I think probably many people are more able to post here often because of the recent free time they have had thanks (or no thanks) to the covid shenanigans. Probably this is also meaning an increase in amount of time people have available to sit down and work on mods, which means more releases and works-in-progress to be posting about in here.

I have still been working through all this and it is definitely noticable for me how busy it is here. It has become very difficult for me to find the time to read through and keep up to date with what is new in the thread recently.
I too can't believe on how quickly another 200 pages were made, but it is still definitely nice for me to try find the time to read everything- It is a bit of a happy escape being in here from all the crazyness, stress and busy crap IRL as of late. Also gives me lots of shiny new things to look forward to trying when the weekend finally arrives.

Keep on being awesome guys and girls.

If you have a full CM, go to ABOUT, and click on the version number multiple times.

I always wonder how to get advance analyze section for a long while. I have the full version of CM and I enable developer mode, but it still come up as default analyze.

It's also the reason COVID-19 'lockdown' requires extra hard drives, just as much as hand sanitiser. :dopey:

Will be interesting in what VR users think when I release it, can't wait to hear. You might all say "damn give me a bucket" I don't kow LOL

I saw your post yesterday that the newest version of the Radical might be ready in a couple of hours. :) :) :)
I'm looking forward to trying out the newest release. I check your site every couple of hours.

Be careful with the amount of "shake." :nervous: In VR, things like bumpy track surfaces or cars with very tight suspensions are exaggerated. In real life, our inner ear helps compensate for the movement, but in VR, even with a very good motion rig, that physical movement isn't there.
