I have no idea what their sales figures have been like for the past couple of years but they're literally giving the game away IMO. With the hyper active modding community, shaders patch, SOL and content manager they could easily not ever have to drop the the price lower than $15.

With what other game are you going to be able to race 80's Australian Touring Cars with most of the tracks

I tried a version of Suzuka from a link here somewhere which had a GP, SuperGT plus the East West variants (plus wet) but the East and West versions did not work. I also had a Suzuka GP version but the modern F1 vomit of Pirelli Rolex DHL everywhere put me right off.

I've gone back to the old Reboot 2017 v0.9 version which has working GP, East and West layouts.

I have had the opportunity to test Rouen Les Essarts, in VR, both how narrow the track looks and the lack of elevations make the track weird to me and different from other Rouen les Essarts available both in AC and other SIM.
I have never been there in real life, so I cannot report which version is more accurate, all I can report is what I like better and what, in VR, feels more accurate. Dr Maboul extra long layout was and still is my go to Rouen Les Essarts.

I have been to Rouen a few times, and the VLM version (GTR2 and rFactor) felt pretty good to me.
A shame no one ever bothered to bring it to AC.

And 8 month ago, a chemical Factory took fire at Rouen haha!! So no need of Fallout version, this is the real colour lol
But with some magic, it doesn't look that bad, does it ?

Did I read a post somewhere, that you can remove the annoying thump, thump in rain, on cars without wipers? If so, kindly inform me of what I need to do.

American truck simulator has some awesome highways, and modding compatibility, even for map makers.
Anyone knows if an attempt to bring one of those highway segments into AC has been made?

I don't know who made the mod that I have, I have had it for some time. What changes between the two versions?
Not alot, he changed some details I had missed, but I redid those for my version anyway. And I took the bloody wiper off on purpose as the real car had a single wiper. Granted not having a working wiper is less than ideal but I made a judgement call on the look of the car over the need to drive in the rain.(which the owners of this car probably never did)
Physics, as is the model, are Kunos with small changes to reflect what the factory may have done when building this special. Whereas he described it as a yank tank and fudged something of his own.

Hello,
I scr**** the track acu_detroit or detroit. Absolutelly nothing works right now.

Someone have the track fully functional with cams and AI line to share? Pls
Thank you, very much!

...@GzeroD ? File is attached, just replace current one (the original is included as a backup).

Wow that's awfully neat norms. How did you place those waypoints so evenly? Do you have a way to overlay the AI line into a 3D editor or did you do it all by eye?

50/50 on which version to use, some other tracks start on the back stretch too so it my become a default for ovals.

I just eyeballed it using the racing groove as a guide as that is where the AI line is running. Some jerked a little to the right so I then kept aligning a bit at a time until most of the jerking had gone, took a while but happy with the results!

It's all about compromise really with no rolling starts and the limited engine for these types of events. Whatever you decide I'm cool with, just keep doing what you are doing, we are all in awe at the sheer amount of content you constantly churn out!

Some mod updates at RD:

Watkins Glen International by LilSki:
Fixed holes between road and T1 apex curb. You can now properly use the first stage of the curb with minimal penalty.
Bug fix/Art pass update on WGI to bring it more in line with the style of Road America in some areas.

NOTE: I highly suggest you remove any previous versions before installing 1.1. I did away with the "endurance" layouts and just left the generator lights up all the time. So it is back down to 4 layouts with all being capable of night racing. Also the install process is back to a standard install. No more MODS folder or custom shaders required.

  • A strip of road on the outside of T1, T8, and T10 exit curbing will not cause a slowdown. This will allow you to hop the curbing a bit without penalty.
  • New road textures
  • New grass textures
  • CSP Grass FX enabled. Legacy grass is still there for non CSP users.
  • Curbs made brighter
  • Exit T1 spectator mound added
  • Blimp and banner plane from RA so when using CSP they will fly around in a pattern.
  • Night lighting should be fixed and come on in the evening as they should.
  • Probably more fixes I can't remember as it has been a while.

Toyota AE86 Improved Physics by Kyuubeey:
  • Moved front suspension trail axis forward, alleviates some bad FFB from physics discrepancy
  • Added brake proportioning valve effect via EBB, thanks to @baker7498
  • Added "junkyard tire" to Drift
  • Added spring bumpstop via BUMPSTOP_UP; packers don't work, and even this one is too stiff; whatever
  • Corrected stock spring bumpstop distance; it's not on the shaft, it's separate! Yes I am stupid
  • Corrected VERSION=2 to VERSION=4 in suspensions.ini so ATTACH_REL_POS works; yes I am stupid
  • Corrected stock engine spec to 130ps as per JDM spec
  • Corrected stock engine fuel cut to 7700RPM as per spec
  • Corrected TORQUE_REACTION in stock car; was 0 for testing
  • Corrected oversight in stock 86 front suspension; height was with no driver
  • Changed rear suspension for more proper internal force correction
  • Changed stock damping based on new reference
  • Changed height range on the D, S2 and Club to be wider
  • Changed S2 rear geometry spec to slightly lower grade again
  • Changed S2 springs from 8.0 / 7.0 to 9.0 / 8.0
  • Changed S1 rear spring from 4.0kgf/mm to 4.7kgf/mm
  • Changed D LSD to Cusco type
  • Tire changes
  • Tidied up some files a bit
  • Updated UIs

Guys, do you have any idea what happened to this?

I've waited years for this, is it still in the WIP state?

Scroll down a bit and you'll find the R34. Chivas and Charles are the same person.

If you click on Charles channel and look up his latest video you can find a link to the website in the video description. Amazing what you can find if you're willing to do a bit of detective work and not be lazy ;)

I know others have said the same thing but it's a good idea to learn how to use google/youtube/search box on top of the page. Almost all of the mods you asked can be found easily. If you can't find them after trying all the above, then ask here but don't expect that we'll have the answer to everything. Some mods are private/paid and we can't share them no matter how much someone begs.
