Dan Bucsa updated all of his 15 cars. Here's his post on FB and a video:

"All 15 Mods Updated

Our Racing Simulator

Good evening all.

I have a little surprise for you all.

I have been quietly updating all the mods following the last few months of error reporting, feedback and help from members in the community. As I went through all the mods quietly in the background I also found things I could improve. I wanted this time for myself and my family, so no pressure, did it slowly. No photos this time, just a video, nothing special but hope you like it.

Some numbers:
4,298,926 triangles, is the sum of all 3d models I have worked on
2,285 textures I created, edited and remastered
11,836 km driven in testing by me, many more by my testers
159 updates released, and several internal alpha and beta versions shared with friends for testing
2,231 photos published
89 videos YouTube videos I've created and published
3,000 hours at least of my work, not including many other modders
1 goal, make quality, public, free and unencrypted mods of some of my favourite cars, in my vision and pour all my automotive passion in them

***I know I keep saying this but please install all my remastered mods manually to take advantage of the improved or custom billboards, pit crews, diver suits, helmets and visors.***

Where applicable, the Credits and Changelogs have been updated. Please go to Photo Albums in Our Racing Simulator Page or Announcements in the Group to download the latest version of the 15 mods.

Thank you to the modders that came before me and the ones that collaborated with me, gave me advice and feedback. Good luck and God bless to the modders that come after. ✌️

I have been blessed to do so well, have so many supporters. But ultimately it's all about hard work, focus on quality and staying humble. Thank you everyone.

Renault Clio Williams - Phase 1

Have a great weekend
Just wanted to let you know that the perf and wear curves for this car are empty. I took some from a Twingo and added semi-slicks. Didn't do much testing but something like that should do the trick.

I now have 3 Monti Ciottoli.
Yours is huge. About 3 times more kb than the others. Why the kn5 file is so big? 557kb
1st: Better graphics and more objects need more filesize. Or does my track look the same like your others? :)
2nd: i experminted with 8k and 4k textures /bump Maps, in kn5 and external skin. I am sorry i had some texture placement problems , because they are so big, so it is not optimized yet. That is why it's not 1.0 yet.

I noticed a thing when working on tracks, sometimes when exporting from 3dSimed to kn5 the filesize can be 10x what it should be.
One solution is to export from 3dSimed to fbx, load the fbx in AC editor and export from there or reimport the fbx back into 3dSimed.

Thanks mate, i will also check this after taking care of the textures.
Also thanks to Zwiss for his hints via PM!

Your version is for some reason very dark overall. Could be on my side, but since it is the only track that shows this, I doubt that.
Can anyone confirm please ?

Yes is quite dark on my end too. And cant make it brighter through sol settings neither..

Looks like they're set to remain a mystery for anyone who doesn't do Facebook... unless some good soul provides download links that don't require logging on to it. I can't find a way to even see the photo album without being asked to sign in. :guilty:

Yes is quite dark on my end too. And cant make it brighter through sol settings neither..
Then i guess i should not have tested so much on the new sol Beta... And the csp Previews.
I had some variations of brightness .. Sometimes too dark Sometimes too bright.
Even on the official sol ppfilters.
I will tweak that again.

This is always the best practice... 3dsimed is useful... But I would always as a matter of course always export to fbx and run through the editor... It will also help with performance in most cases

Hi Mike, is your update to Monti Ciottoli just a texture rework? I notice it has a selectable skin 'Mike 08', so if this is unticked then is the track exactly the same as the one that @__EASY__ released?

Also, are you sure the track wasn't removed from RD because it might be an unauthorised conversion, rather than because of the file size or using external links?

you´re Welcome

not sure about good soul bit, but you did help out in another matter.

damn, got ninja'd!

Two good souls at the same time! Blessed be team GTP! :gtpflag:Big thanks to you both. :)

EDIT: RCB... some of your links may have been wonky, but you have still been officially annointed as a 'good soul' by the 'Pope of Sim Racing', like it or not. :P

It is a big rework, has more Details/objects and new shaders with more texturework already in the kn5. I guess i have put way more than 30hours in it.
It is nothing like EASYs track any more. You should see instantly after driving both tracks.
I also used skin besides all kn5 rework to test texture variations , this skin is part of the whole , you should not deactivate it.

I got the warning message from RD that i posted external link.
I didnt want to do it but had no option to do it fast, without again putting in another hour.

bummer if they are, i just copied the links from the posts, and that was PAINFUL.. try the post 2 above mine maybe i got the wrong links?
Ah, no worries, and thanks for the effort. I quite dislike the FB trend of having to find the right photo in an album to reveal the car link. Seems like an unnecessary series of hoops to jump through.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. Will the skin eventually be folded into the kn5? It'll probably help to reduce the massive file size as a lot of textures might be getting duplicated unnecessarily. Your track is literally over ten times bigger than @__EASY__ 's version (1.62GB vs 126MB).
Also, could you please look at the track limits and penalties? Like all of the other versions of this track you get penalised with 'track cut' penalties just for clipping a fence. Seems harsh..! ;)

To clear that again... I already wrote above.
Yes! Because my new textures and stuff are also 10 times bigger in many cases. And sometimes trippled, because of road multinm shader for example using 5 textures layered. In the original only 1 texture simple ksperpixel shader.

That is a problem of the most AC Tracks... a track can not look good with 200kb web size graphics. ;)
Guess why Forza7 has 130GB

No problem, I was just saying the file size should come down a lot once all the unnecessary duplication has been tidied up. It's currently even bigger than the sx_lemans track which is physically a much bigger/more complicated track with far more textures and detail.
I guess I was trying to help in a clumsy roundabout way, I didn't mean it as criticism.
:)

Try 86ing the config first and see which you like better. It's basically all emissive lighting. If it's just the headlights and tail lights, the first section before it says "interior" you can get rid of. Obviously make a copy of the config first.
Thanks - I've tried this in the past with other cars that use emissive lighting and I think you just end up with a single little dull point source.

I also say thanks for this information on 3dsimed. @RMi_wood I always do a "Reset View" before doing my exports back to KN5. Not sure, but does this make any difference in final size of KN5 files?

Also when you do go from 3dsimed to FBX and then go to KSeditor, Do you have to change all the graphics to make them look right so they dont look 2d or a strange funky looking graphics? Not sure if I am explaining that correctly.
