Ferrari 512 M by Legion is here.

https://perendinator.blogspot.com/search/label/Group 4 Group 5 gen 2&3 Group 6 gen 1&2

I've done the skin liveries, completed the info on each one, and tossed a 1970 Regazzoni Le Mans's driver's skin & gloves.
Made an entirely new skin folder in case you want to go back for some reason.
Edit: Just realized I included my preview pics, keep that in mind! (sorry about that!)

Yeah. I often wonder if the creator's ppfilters kill those reflexes entirely, or maybe their SOL light config, so they don't even notice.
Yeah, it's very weird how some modders keep releasing cars with this same error over and over again.

Nice, I was halfway through doing that! Which CM Preview style is that please?

Unrelated question, but do you know if there's a way to replace a shader in CM, or if that needs to be done with an unpack/repack?

Guys, experts of the track mods, casual drivers... to all.

Do you like the new release of the Istanbul Park? Do you have any feedback to give us? Did you add new stuff to it? Share with us, so we can check and repack a better version of it.

I quote this solution for messed up windscreens found in Racedepartment:

"So you use content manager, go to the CM showroom, select the inner glass (very important to be the inner or it won't work) then click the three little dots next to the material, then click change value and make sure all the settings with "fresnel" in the name are set to 0. The fresnel effect is the culprit of the motion blur in many of the vehicles that have this problem, it worked on all the ones I've tried so far."

It hapens to me with Bazza's 512s too. I seem to remember it was a solution for this using CM. Am I right? Can't remember how the procedure was.

Well, I tried disabling the "Windscreen FX" module from the CSP settings, and nothing happen.
I think it has something to do with SOL, that creates aggressive light reflections.
This is the Anglia windscreen on overcast weather (forget the white driver, changed model and forgot to assign clothes lol):

i'm a fresh new Ilja supporter as of Tuesday, and have to admit I was very impressed by initially trying it out last night at Okayama, 36 GT86's, 'light rain', VR, and it was smooth as butter (i7-9700/2080/rift s). Wish i had started subbing long ago!

Willing to share your graphics settings? as i cant get AC to run good in VR anymore

If you have the snow storm problem in the windscreen, try this:

It's my own version of the famous Retrolux Studio Showroom.
It includes four distance to deal with any car's lenght.
You probably already know it, but files go into (...) Appdata\Local\Ac Tools Content Manager\Presets\Custom Previews
https://www.mediafire.com/file/65tfu35ngwlzibz/Retrolux_black.rar/file

About the shaders, I wouldn't know. Maybe I'm already doing it, I just don't know what the word "shader" means (language vagueness they call it) so I have nothing to relate it to.

Well i've been happily playing around with this for the last month while waiting for my new GPU, so only now i am going to try and export it ingame.
But i'm glad Pcars2 model is available as the one i am currently using from GTS is somewhat lacking stuff. I have to try that model to see if it is any better.

I don't wanna be rude (or maybe I'm misunderstanding your post) but no way a PC model is better than a GTS one. If there's one thing PD do better than others it's the 3D/ fidelity to the original source.

GTS as in Gran Turismo SPORT? You mean that Polyphony version of the Ferrari is nowhere near as good as the SMS one instead?

I still haven't looked at the PC2 model, so i cannot weigh in on which is better yet. The GTS model in gamemodels is corrupted, full of holes and whatnot, but the GT6 is quite intact, i still had to source an engine, fuel lid, front headlights and some textures from other mods. The front headlights from GT6 are closed and i must open the body mesh, some textures give out inconsistencies, the underbody lacks detail, and the interior needs much sorting.

Shame the windscreen reflects the road like a snowstorm...

What do you mean?

Yes, all the stuff working, SOL, CSP, etc, etc... Ok, I did change some values in window.
I agree that some mods, should be cared a bit more before launching.
Still, full hand thumbs up for Velos mods. 2 hands thumbs up for launching different cars!

For curiosity, I kept the original car, but made a 'racing' spec with a 4th gear. It gave it a bit more of top speed.

First time i created something from scratch yup
Its the digital gauges for the Vector W8 which are 70% finished i was intrested into doing gauges and it turned out pretty well however its still needs to be finished. Diablo GT2 is s till in the works now i need to do the wipers for it.
My Vector W8 gauge

Actual Vector W8 gauge
2021.01.14-12.57.png

There's some stuff missing that i will add to the gauge will also do AO and actual pop up headlights for the W8 too.

Yep I also decided to support Ilja and he supports us with 'his' rain (and obviously much more ;) ) . I'm combining rain/thunderstorm in several weatherplans etc. It's a learning curve although very good tutorials are available on the internet. Here and there a small 'bug/issue/hick-up' in the beta testing but that is work in progress and the experts are actually doing something with the feedback.

Still in 2D and have to try how it looks in VR with my G2 headset. Step by step. My old brains cannot handle that technique at once. But man what are these great times for us simracer enthusiasts.

I don't think Velo uses Sol. There used to be a disclaimer on his site about this.

It's nothing to do with Sol, it's just the wrong basic shader being used for the internal glass.

Yeah it's weird how 90% of released mods are from people who never opened the pipeline and you can tell that
It is a shame indeed, but even if the pipeline isn't followed you'd hope that something as basic as using ksWindscreen for the internal glass would be the norm by now, especially when the modder has dozens of cars behind him.
It's like the old hand/steering wheel synch issue that STILL crops up time and time again. It's almost harder to get this wrong.

I can't find something to improve atm. I'm even thinking of making a camtool set for it. Nice track!

The Ferrari 512 S Coda Lunga.
View attachment 928240

I've been waiting for years for someone to make one of these in AC. Unfortunately it hasn't happened yet. I decided to have a go at converting the GTR2 version of the car in the meantime. It worked out not too bad but do remember this is a GTR2 CONVERSION so don't expect perfection or anywhere near it.

The car could do with a better set of textures. I tried to upscale some of them but still not got the quality of a decent hi-rez set.
The car needs a new cockpit. The existing cockpit is just a steering wheel in a box.

Maybe this will inspire someone to make a decent Coda Lunga, at least I hope so. With only 2 months modding experience, I've done the best I can.

This model is good and the physic too but need a little bit of work in some stuffs like the cockpit and the sidewings at the rear. If someone can plaese work on it
