updated. fair warning, the track is very much still in a WIP phase but i believe the project was abandoned.
Thanks for that. Too bad if it was abandoned. The track drives pretty true in flow and I think even track elevation visuals. Not a bad starting point...

To the right of the right hand glove.

@graveltrap move the cam forward.

Could be the overlaped driver?

I already asked on CSP Discord, but maybe somebody here could help too ?
I get these strange stripes on all cars in game (not in CM showroom). Must have changed every possible setting in CM, updated my nVidia GPU drivers, but nothing solves the issue.
I have no clue and it is bothering me more and more... :indiff:

hi @Blackcelica (just to be sure you started from the best version already available) to make your version, could you please conferm that you started from this excellent monaco_2019 version with the updated swimming pool chicane section made by @Ofitus21 one month ago?

Monaco 2019 (with updated Swimming Pool section)

Hi all! As you may know there are lots of versions of Monaco around online, but none of them include the updated Swimming Pool chicane Monaco introduced in 2016. In an attempt to replicate the feeling and flow of the new track, I have modified the swimming pool section walls and surfaces, so Turn 16 is like the newer layout of the track. The base version I used includes one of the incredible Blackcelica skins.

I hope you enjoy it!

The AI needs tweaking, so feel free to work on it

I don’t have any doubts that the best and updated Monaco version (before @Blackcelica ’s one) is this, because includes also updated surfaces and elements of new swimming pool chicane section:

I'll be adding a review of the new @Blackcelica 2021 version to this when I post my next update to the duplicate track review project, probably today or tomorrow.

This Monaco 2020 is one of the ones I had that I don't think I tried yet. I had to come across the 2019 version that gutbomb reviewed. Since then, there have been multiple people that have tried their hand at correcting the swimming pool section, which I'm not sure what it's supposed to actually look like. Since that point, I gave up and was waiting until now to hope that collectively we'd all sort this situation out and end up with a unified best version of Monaco.

I got that bit already but it looks like the rest of it is soon to be identified

As far as I know, yes. Re downloaded your link earlier to check. Files were the same.

Hi,

I share the VW Golf MK2 BTCC Class 1.

Feel free to work on it.
You said "feel free to work on it", so here's a very small and quick update.
It's the whole car, so will overwrite the original, so back it up.

v1.1
- driver scale/position alterations to fit the seat and steering wheel better
- better shift animation and timing, much closer to the gearstick now, smoother action
- exterior glass changed, slightly more visible. Really needs interior glass adding and RainFX wiper prep.
- steer assist fixed as per earlier post
- redundant kn5s removed for smaller file size
- minor UI changes

@graveltrap, that weird artifact you had was the driver helmet clipping through in first-person view, it's now hidden.

Temporary link, grab it now, please don't ask for re-ups.

The link I downloaded from there was a track named monaco_2020. Yours is monaco_2019. There are quite a few differences in the files inside the track folder.

I'll look again and compare the files themselves. Anyone can change the text. I knew this would be too much hassle.

EDIT: I've just had a good drive around it. There is a small difference but not worth the trade of as to what you lose. Too many billboards are missing in the 2020 so it no longer looks like it does on TV right now. I'm not going to start from scratch again with less stuff because of a slight track alignment. The correct sponsors cannot be put on the 2020 version and the skin for the 2019 version which is almost perfect now is completely wrong.

grid setup for Macau ready guys (Imsa gtp-gto cars)
https://www.mediafire.com/file/pccpir983oa0buc/IMSA_multiclass_GTP-GTO_Macau.cmpreset/file

After seeing how the AI does a good race in Monaco I say, why not Macau ... And what a disaster, some cars had to be withdrawn from the race due to problems, in the first open corner they destroyed the race.

After making those adjustments and ordering the start well so as not to have unnecessary battles in the first lap, everything worked perfectly, even GTP they make a very good race and overtaking the gto class clean as possible.

Demo video here:

by the way, for some reason the merkur r4i crashes on the fast corner and is swallowed by the ground 3:42 :lol::lol:

Thanks for checking it out. Perhaps someone can modify only what is necessary to fix that without messing up everything else.

Hi,

I share the VW Golf MK2 BTCC Class 1.

I don't know whos the original modder.
Chassis and drivetrain retuned trying to match original specifications.
Some 3D ectras added like wheels, steering, wheel, rollcage, race seat.

I've included fictional race liveries from @microdino racing.
https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/fictional-raceskin-for-vw-golf-mk2.20373/

Nice for recreate late 80's BTCC Class1 with my Escort RS turbo and the Toyota Corolla ATCC from assettomods.com.

Also good for one make races.

It needs:
- Race skins
- Striped race interior
- Flames (can't make them show)

Feel free to work on it.

Too bad you see it both blue crystalized AND half covered inside a rectangular-ass object full of plate textures in showroom which considerably slowed it down for some ******* reason...This also being my all-time favorite-ass car as well...

Then again, since this came from S***tokou Revival Project server, the **** would you expect?

I don't use showroom so uh, :boggled:

Droves believably, sounds pretty good, interior is well detailed, looks great in replay and screenshot....looks like someone took sometime to finish it in a good quality, so good enough for me?
