good afternoon, guys engaged in graphics, can you tell me how to make such relief textures (tx normal), maybe there is some guide?
Are you working in Photoshop or using the standalone NVidia texture exporter? If so, when saving as a dds file, there is an option to choose Format, which should be BC3, and Image Type which should be Normal Map - Tangent Space. Then you can adjust the depth of the normals with sliders. Then save with the correct texture name, usually with _nm.dds at the end.

Hey guys. I have a question: how do i stop the interior looking like this? I don't like this reflective kind of look on the steering wheel and where the buttons are. Which setting should i change? Or maybe it is a car related thing (This car is BK's Ferrari 488 GT3 EVO).

Usually a car related thing.

You can fix it with CSP by tweaking the existing material’s reflectance and smoothness if the car has an ext_config.ini, or by creating one for it to tweak the materials you want.

Someone could make this skin for the kunos 155 ti?

More pictures of this livery in this link: http://www.aquaramabec.com/veicolo/alfa-romeo-155-dtm/

rather can anyone make this car ?? Alfa 155 DTM ①⑨⑨④ Evo. There are '93, '95 and '96 but not the '94 version

right now i am using these mods: https://assettorallygrb.wixsite.com...WQqYL_YpmzKpHI3TxwcGCRbX0Lgk2-guHznJKIsOAq4QM

also with other mods this error appeared, but not with kunos cars

I have downloaded all the models from that page, they are the old models of the rFactor rallyworld mod, and some new ones.

In some classes, for example asphalt or hillclimb, there are models that can be used to mount races on circuits, for example I use some to do btcc or sgt500 races

By the way, some models are only valid for taking photos, because they have very poorly adapted physics.

Thanks man 👍. Does anyone else have the same reflecting texture in the interior of this particular car or am i the only one? I will mess around with the config when i have the chance.

Yo! All you beautiful people, Twin Ring Motegi URD..

Looking for good AI please, the one that ships with it has lovely pileups in the sand banks..

and if one exists a good config_ext or skin fixes for those repeated tiled trees in the distance etc. Bad trees just get my goat up..

I can help you with AI line  but this week is a bit hard work at my job, on Friday I could have something prepared

There is a vegetation fix but it comes as a skin: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/vegetation-fixed-tochigi-racing-ring.33769/
Do you have this? Maybe somebody can provide ai and a good config file because i need those too.

Edit: oops sorry somebody ninja'd the vegetation already :boggled:

Hey guys :)
Does anyone know if there's a good version of the Dubai Autodrome floating around somewhere? The one on RD is...fine, but especially the "bowls" are fairly inaccurate.

Anyone? :D
I've seen Macau coming from R3E, any chance for Dubai?

I'm using rally Gr.A : Uno Turbo, Peugeot 205 Gti, Renault 5 GT, Citroen AX Gt, Volkswagen Golf Gti Mk2 and Opel Corsa Gsi

About ai lines,
I have a good one for Trial mountain, or at least I can do a good one avoiding the accidents of the first tunnel and the uphill chicane near the end of the track.

But this track has a green flag fault, a part of the grid stuck then some cars go pit or drive slowly until they hit the race line.

https://www.mediafire.com/file/f35esscyc6ch26s/aiTrialM0.2.rar/file

Try if you want, but it is not usable, the pit line is outside the pit to check if the bug is created by that line, and it is not, it is a bug in the operation of the track, the creator or someone who knows how to do it can fix it, just one line of AI doesn't fix that problem

Thanks all, the skin gets it more "natural and helps, but the particular bit that is rubbing me up the wrong way is this hill .. my OCD goes nuts with alternating tiles textures that are this blatant. Ill hop in and fix myself and post up the fix later.

I think the AI line issue I was experiencing might have been jsut a few bad cars in my line up.

It may be, but the AI errors, in my experience, is a mixture of track limitation, that is, it understands the AI inside and outside the circuit, grid configuration and car model.

By the way, for some reason, when the track exceeds more or less 30km in length, the AI can behave even worse than it is

a look at the replay of wher ethe multicar crashes happen its this guy that causes it, he goes wide...

tested the same field minus him and all went pretty smooth (outside of the normal AI silliness in AC)

check first that you do not have these errors in the circuit, for example see this

Look at what a circuit limit configuration disaster, this is what to avoid is the first step to have a functional AI.

I guess this circuit was not designed to run against AI and therefore it is not '' clean ''.

Another thing about Ai's behavior, it is much better to draw a line with a wide car and without adjusting too much, you can also draw the line at the speed you want, and it is advisable to do it slowly, if you want later the ai can be improved more by creating an aihints file, in that file you can set the speed of the car in a certain area, although I don't know how to do it, I have any ideas.

Okayama hill seen e.g. from the 1st corner has these weird tree textures as well.

beautiful bmw and nissan, i have used them in the past

they are coming _suzuka i mean.....but you better prove to us your gonna use them ...we want videos as payment:)

Great news.
I'm using very often the Suzuka East layout for testing cars, just tell me where should I upload the videos :)
Thanks for the amazing tracks!

re: SOL 2.1 + overheating

I also had my AC crash to desktop for the first time and the videocard was HOWLING. This never happened until upgrading to SOL 2.1
It is screaming like it never did before.

I had the same issue but I installed SOL 2.1 and the new Nvidia Experience at the same time and I thought it's the latter, because I lost my FAN management profile with the upgrade as well. I created a new one so it's fine now but still generating too much heat.

Someone knows if theres a way to Use the Revenga R13 always with LDF kit for opponents? idk perhaps changing some ini file or something

You need to drive each of the opponent car types, determine the setup (in this case set the downforce) and then save that setup as AI_Default. Exit and restart to have all cars of that type to then use that setup (although I recall reading that the ai may or may not use the fuel settings, a good thing if true cuz then the AI_Default setup should work for opponent cars during quali and race.). I often do this for the opponents to get opponent car gear ratios for top speed on the straights.

I can't say anything for the ai but you are right about the hillside. It looks dodgy, but that is something i can live with. It would be great to fix it if you have time for it 👍.

Edit: Just noticed something. The hill of Motegi looks like a Cola+Mentos mixture. I mean from far away you don't notice it but in the photo, it looks like some kind of foam in the shape of a mountain . Do you guys agree?
