BTW, did you know that there's 5 (or so) extreme variants of it in Japan called LM? It's pretty much the hypercar track focused variant of the normal one, as it is with the Ferrari FXX, McLaren Senna, etc. Basically it has a few aerodynamic and engine changes, while the rest is pretty much the same as the normal one. I hope in the future to model it myself once I'll learn modeling with a better PC, or better yet if someone else would consider replicating it before me, although it would be very highly unlikely pretty much.
I've got no doubt that @__EASY__ would have taken my updates if he wanted them and folded them into 'his' monetised car (it's happened plenty of times in the past when I've uploaded shifting animations, number plates, or new drivers etc, and I've been OK with it even if I was never asked first) but as I said earlier, my GT40 edits were never meant to be merged with 'his' car. These updates are a compromise with driver position/era etc and really meant as a standalone option for people (VR users mainly) who have arms visible and don't want a distractingly flamboyant shifting animation.I like cooperation and to thank those who help and who created things, because I cannot create from scratch.
Personally for me it is a rare case somebody releases some contribution to the community without contacting me in private firstly. Honestly I am positive for independant updates of my works without that contact, but 99% of the time others come to me first in private, discuss the additions/changes and I have included them in the next update.
Maybe in my case it is a show of respect for my works, and I am very happy with this, honored by it infact!
(I thought people hated my stuff because nobody ever posts public fixes for it!)
It is a new year, lets all try to cooperate and show respect for all in our hobby!
damn, I was trying to enjoy some sweet cake.
I'm not the only one to put on sharemod, RMI does it too and many others, they are blamed for that, no I don't think so and everyone is free to host the files where they wantI've got no doubt that @__EASY__ would have taken my updates if he wanted them and folded them into 'his' monetised car (it's happened plenty of times in the past when I've uploaded shifting animations, number plates, or new drivers etc, and I've been OK with it even if I was never asked first) but as I said earlier, my GT40 edits were never meant to be merged with 'his' car. The only reason why both cars can't exist side-by-side is if someone thinks it'll negatively impact their Sharemods dollars, even though this whole drama has done nothing but draw attention to the car and enabled several updates to be issued which I presume multiplies @__EASY__ 's Sharemods commission with each new download?
You're deliberately missing the point.I'm not the only one to put on sharemod, RMI does it too and many others, they are blamed for that, no I don't think so and everyone is free to host the files where they want
do you think we will become rich with sharemod ?
the subject of discussion is the car and not the circuit which has been removedYou're deliberately missing the point.
Justify taking Camino Viejo, a track you had NOTHING to do with, and reuploading it to Sharemods.
Go on.
This should be good.

I also forgot there was another variant of it made by an university in Japan called Tokai who built it with a V8 engine in place of the original V12 which they drove at Sportsland SUGO and even considered entering it at Le Mans but failed.
Lastly, it even sported a bigger rear wing, which probably also wasn't considered for some of the 53 production cars built.

Sadly for you, you don't get to choose what other people might want to discuss. The car's already been covered in great detail. I don't own it, you don't own it. The community now owns at least three versions of it!the subject of discussion is the car and not the circuit which has been removed
Fun fact, once I discovered it, I actually converted that mod from rFactor/AMS to AC long ago, however I haven't found anyone worthy of giving it authentic physics for it ever since, I then ended up deleting it once @lorelord naturally converted it from Forza Horizon 5 once it unexpectedly dropped in its announcement trailer from E3 of last year which made me extremely happy to see it came back after many years since it was available in NFS III High Stakes and Gran Turismo 2. At least I still do have all the pictures of it.The AMS mod as both variants IIRC.
keep your car, but the next big update I will do on important cars like the GT40 will be encrypted thanks to you even if I don't like this solutionSadly for you, you don't get to choose what other people might want to discuss. I know you eventually took Camino Viejo down, but ONLY after pressure from one of the team, ONLY after they'd asked you more than once, ONLY a week after the original request and ONLY when they proved they were involved.
You didn't take it down because you wanted to, or because you thought it was wrong. If @RMi_wood hadn't repeatedly asked you to take it down it'd still be up there now, earning you money for a few second's work.
The point that you seem to be avoiding is that you saw absolutely nothing wrong with uploading and monetising it in the first place.
Please tell me that you now get this?
And what about the work others do, because so much of your 'work' is others work you bundle in for convenience? Will it be encrypted? It's not even your mod. It's a mod you took and edited the same as Masscot. You take and take. Earn money on others works. The skins are they yours?keep your car, but the next big update I will do on important cars like the GT40 will be encrypted thanks to you even if I don't like this solution
Pretty cool but Autoblip seems buggy.
1991 Jaguar XJR15 Race Car
A real race Unicorn here!
Introducing the 1991 Jaguar XJR15 Race Car that featured in the single series, Jaguar Sport Intercontinental Challenge; a three-race competition held throughout the year as a support event for the 1991 Formula One Grand Prix at Monaco, Silverstone, and Spa-Francorchamps.
Featuring all 16 real race liveries for a full grid. (Based on Silverstone round as these differed the most)
Real world figures, gearing, race options etc.
With a small rear-wing, lack of underside aerodynamics as per Group C Regs, lack of driver aids and a big V12 at the rear this has been described by the test drivers as a "real challenge". Fitted with 90's group C tyres designed with endurance in mind, tyre temps also need to be managed effectively. With only a front roll bar the tail can wiggle when pushed and the big cat will bite.
To run the series I recommend the following tracks:
1) 1988 Monaco by Carrera4 and derDumeklemmer,
2) 1988 Silverstone by Carrera4 and @Rainmaker87 or Silverstone 90's by ACTK @__EASY__
3) 1988 Spa by Carrera4 and @Rainmaker87 or 1993 Spa converted by @RMi_wood and @TheRealCeeBee
Being the cars are all evenly matched AI aggression should be set at 50% and above.
Enjoy!

Oh, I just saw this post. I was typing my earlier reply.keep your car, but the next big update I will do on important cars like the GT40 will be encrypted thanks to you even if I don't like this solution
'll watch all this tomorrow, and yes for the 60's pilot I'll watch that tooOh, I just saw this post. I was typing my earlier reply.
Well, as I said above, I'm removing my version of AssettoDrive's car as your latest update offers a better solution, so... shrugs
God just encrypt your mods then, stop these silly threats.keep your car, but the next big update I will do on important cars like the GT40 will be encrypted thanks to you even if I don't like this solution
In this particular case my shifting edits were never meant to be folded into @__EASY__ 's car because they introduced compromises elsewhere (like driver posture, for example). My shifting edits were really for VR users and 'visible arm' 2D drivers who were distracted by the flamboyant shifting animation.. It was always meant to be a separate car to give people options. Anyway, after a long and protracted philosophical debate we've finally arrived back at one car but with a fixed shifting animation.... so everyone wins, I guess?Never understood why all those battles... for same cars release.
Just talk about and release a finished version, that won't be released in 350 versions. It's not that hard to discuss.
It was we did during rF1 times and it worked perfectly.
Of course we all win at the end. But we could always avoid these egocentric battles, I don't mean you have egocentric, but in general the AC modding is full of...^^In this particular case my shifting edits were never meant to be folded into @__EASY__ 's car because they introduced compromises elsewhere (like driver posture, for example). driver_60 is a Kunos driver and can be references in the config. No need to add the kn5 separately.last question before going to bed, is there any skin for the driver_60.kn5 that could be added?
the driver_60.kn5 be an original file of the game or must it be added to the archive of the car?
I was under the impression that since the last update, Lausitzring on RD is bang up to date?Hey guys,
Just wondering, are there more accurate/current versions of the Norisring or Lausitzring (other than the ones on RD) out there or in the works somewhere? The Norisring is more of an OCD thing, it's a bit too wide more or less everywhere but otherwise alright. An updated Lausitzring is a bit more...necessary.
Loving this! Thanks for the great work. I wanted to re-create a poster I had as a kid of this car and seem to have found a weird issue with the front bumper:

Did I say sth. that offends you or push my opinion upon yours? I just made a comment.Dude, I will not feed this argue anymore.
We weren't talking about F1 neither GT4! Jesus!

not sure what you've done there. easiest way round would be to copy one of the skin folders, open up the psd. delete everything but the top layer which is the ao. insert a layer underneath and fill it with the colour of your choice and save the dds. any issues pm me and ill do the skin for you as its only a couple mins workLoving this! Thanks for the great work. I wanted to re-create a poster I had as a kid of this car and seem to have found a weird issue with the front bumper:
No problem! The car was first converted by 1st Studio Race if I'm not mistaken, but it had horrible physics and later was modified by one of our friendship leagues called Guerreiros Do AV. This week one of the leagues released the Sprint Race car from Brazil too:Thanks for this. Great car. Really enjoying racing in Brazil rn.
