Just a simple remark: without a clutch pedal, it's very difficult to launch the car.
It don't rev up at very low RPM.

Thanks fors these mods.

Hey, I just encoutered something...
I have never tried the West side section of Suzuka's track before, the one from reboot team, but I might have a problem with it :

Track's closed
Even the AI don't know what to do. And they got a correct AI line!
My Suzuka version is 1.1, it seems up to date from the links I have... Any Idea how to fix this ?

Exactly what I needed, thanks!!!!!!

New release should hopefully be out tomorrow.

You can feel the FPS losses just by looking at those images! I do manage a locked 60 down the strip, but I guess VR people will need to turn off some of the lights.
Tom Wolfe's great piece on LV pointed out that the town is defined by its (neon) lighting. In fact, Wolf, instead of interviewing the denizens of the casinos, went to the edge of town and interviewed the workmen in the marquee manufacturing operations. Point being, if you want LV to look authentic, you need twice as much lighting as a night race on the sun would provide.

Do a clean installation, that route is fine. You maybe overwrote files when you updated?

rt_suzuka v1.1, no such issue here:

@vwcharger69 you could rev the engine and then shift into first gear...

Going to do one last Sergio Loro track track skin because it's the last of the three I bought. It's Hockenheim, but I need some info for anyone who knows the area.

The tall pines he uses, are they accurate to that area? The long trunk type with very little foliage just at the top or more like in the picture below that are a little more bushy type? And is the area a high snow area that seasonal adjustments should include at least some full winter periods and also fall colors? Thanks for any info...

Why you reactioned sad to my post? 😂😂I meant I'm going to upload the download.

I don't know if everything is set correctly, but there you have. Works for "wd_peugeot_905_evo_1b_1" car (I don't know what car is, but I know is from this site) You can manipualte the ext_config (offset and other values) in order to change anything

That is a CSP extension. You need at least the most stable version of CSP. You have to paste it inside one of the livery's folder of the car
Do you have a link for the car?I have the one named lmp2_peugeot_905evo.Thanks!

Yes. Take a look at the photos around Jim Clark Memorial, which is along the old part of the circuit that ran through the woods, to get a better feel. It's a heavily wooded area with all kinds of tall trees:

I'm sorry about this problem Chris, but I try to simulate real car behaviour. Mégane Trophy Evo in particular has very high idle rpm (~1950 rpm).

I live 200 km east of the Hockenheim Ring and we had a maximum of 10 days of snow this winter spread across 3/4 months.

Thanks all for the Hockenheim info. I was hoping that those tall pines were not the norm just so I could use more variety. Those things are kind of ugly and look monotonous when you drive that stretch of the track. I may take a few liberties and use a combo of different types just to help break up the look a bit. Maybe i'll steal some trees from Vhe's modern Hockenheim version. Overall, I don't think I need to change a whole lot.

Surprised to hear so little snow. The surroundings look like the type of trees and such I associate with a snow area. Wonder if that means no fall colored trees as well. Probably end up with 2 ext_config's for those that like the full winter look and one that is more real life accurate.

While you are on it (and I appreciate your work you put into these tracks) could you please have a look onto ks_Brands Hatch, especially those ugly 3D trees which are on the track without any leafs? Maybe you could hide them as well? Personally I don´t use seasonal adjustments for tracks, simply because it looks rubbish at most of the tracks, and even the guys behind that confirmed on discord it was not their best idea they had. I think there were even thoughts to remove that feature on later CSP versions.

That should be an easy one. Just need to find them all. Hopefully it doesn't drastically alter the look of the track because I don't have the know how to replace them with 2D trees. I'm no model maker. I just know how to replace textures.

The deciduous trees do change color to red/orange/yellow before losing all foliage.

Hi All, I saw my video of the Melbourne 2022 track got shared here, so I thought I'd share the news that the track is now available on my website. It's a pay what you want setup, so if you want to try it out give it a go!

It's most likely not at the quality of most other mods, but hopefully it's enjoyable at least.

@Fall Guy Try this. Let me know if I missed any. Are there any other stock tracks with 3D trees I should do this on?

EDIT: Wait, just saw one I missed. Give me a minute to edit the file.

EDIT2: Try it now. Think I got all of them. Doesn't drastically alter the look, which is good. Probably improves it without those ugly things everywhere. I might put this up on RD in case anyone else is interested in getting rid of those 3D trees. Plus the fall look could use a little adjusting. The guys who makes these for CSP always seem to make the fall colors too intense and it looks cartoonish.

Hi,

thanks for sharing this. Judging on the F1 2020 advert you can see here I assume it is a (partial) rip of an existing Codemasters track? Where is the sense to put F1 2020 adverts on a 2022 layout? Have you used the assets from Codemasters for this?
