Looks great. Thanks for the work. I must have missed something along the way though. Is there a 96\97 skin floating around somewhere because I only have a skin-vintage folder in my skins directory?

Since we got some Super Mario skins for the Abarth 500 Assetto Corse I thought it would be nice to have decent AI for Soyo's Royal Raceway track, obviously made with the aformentioned car, the mozzarella on wheels.

Let me know how it works for other cars, I'm curious.

There's no plausible reason for you to keep the original AI files since they're bad as cigarette smoke in your eyes so just unpack, overwrite and get jiggy with it.

VERY IMPORTANT: Press shift while loading the race in order for the sidelines to work.

I have like all others, questions about Assetto Corsa Modding.

If I want to add a material to a mod that is missing e.g. a normal map, what is the best way to do this or is KSeditor v6 enough?
ksEditor should be fine. You can just unpack .kn5 using CM and open the fbx to make adjustments

The exact model I mentioned few posts ago. Sad that many people are converging on the same model at the same time instead of choosing they're own category (RSS for formulas, vrc for prototypes ecc)
Strangely VRC, I love their job, only made classic LMP cars that are present in Forza games... It's really interesting I find...
They could have choose 1999-2000 Panoz LMP, no they make the 2003 version only.
My bet that after the V12 LMR, there will be the Ferrari 333 SP Momo, same model than... Forza. After if they do all the aero spec, I'd be happy.
But we miss lot more Courage, Pescarolo, Lola than a new version of BMW.

I love their job, they do a professionnal quality, but it's a bit sad.

In fairness, VRC have done all the other circa 2000 prototypes, so it fits nicely into their grid. And personally I'm a big fan of having several models from the same era to create a varied grid.

I'd love something like the Matra MS670 you mentioned, but it'd be weird on its own without a matching Ferrari, Mirage, Alfa, Lola or Chevron IMO.

Credit to them for doing a nice in-depth field, which matches the RSS GT1 and GT2 cars really well.

Good point, I absolutely loved that Rafanelli Lola in ALMS. The ORECA run Chrysler-Dallaras would match their other cars better than the BMW too and they were really competitive.

We have some courage and Pescarolo from simdream but eventually you can use them for racing against in a well designed mod live vrc or whatever it is.
Btw for me we need more groups of modders like that. They're really a few.

I know, and SimDream used my work on these cars for their mod, so it's little bit playing my own mod XD. As I did with ChaosZero back in the day for rF1. Exepct the LC70-75 that was from Grid, all the pescarolo are from the Jpbs model from 2005 for GTR2.

Bad Enduracers decided to go over rF2.. VLM vanished after GTPC for rF1... and CTDP, MMG, FSONE, all are gone too.

Now we are 3-4 great sportscar group, we must support them and give them love^^, but it can allow positive critics.

For me them and the team ASR are making an absolutely amazing detailed professional job !! Honnestly i love their job !
But my regreat they disperse a little too much in their work because sometime my wish is different that they are making !

What with hundreds of mods, Content Manager, Custom Shader Patch and all the rest, this house of cards was doomed to fail. Sooner or later...is now. Is potato. I give up. Lack of coordination between your wheel and in-game's wheel have nothing to do with the amount of degrees your wheel turns.

What I said is that the car has implemented into its physics the real car steering rack. Wheels turn 29/26 degrees (inside/outside) when you go full lock, which in the real M1 it is like 3.2 turns (1.6 turns from center to one side).

3.2 turns are 1152 degrees. For example, if your steering wheel has only a maximun of 720 degrees, the M1 wheels are not going to turn the full 29/26 degress. They will turn like 18/16 degrees. BUT this is only in case you have the Scale at 100% in game options, no change in Gamma and the real steering angle of your wheel put into the CM options.

I´m suspicious that you don´t have the scale right in your setup, because your wheel and the car´s wheel should rotate at the same time and the same amount. If you turn your wheel 90º, in game you should see it turn 90º, whatever it is the steering ratio of the car.

As I said, your problem has nothing to do with car physics. If your wheel turns more or less than the car in game, you have a "problem" with your setup config (= it is not properly scaled).
Thanks for the feedback, I checked all of my settings and I think the difference is I did not have "Auto-adjust scale to match car's steer lock" selected, do you use this? I read your FFB readme and we have the same wheel but in some experimenting I found checking that box got the alignment to work. Thanks for the feedback though, as I otherwise never would've checked that I don't know how this got un-checked!

I think that ACF Magny Cours 2001 is the only one version with old chicane...I think...

I try to do something...increasing the textures resolution (very low) starting from 1997 billboards, where possibile...as always...

Little mistake: tobacco livery for Benetton on a no tobacco circuit! But it's Jean Alesi! 😁

Hmmm so you inquired about RF2 a few posts ago and now look what happend....

It's hard to come back to AC despite the constant onslaught of cool and/or crappy mods that come out almost on a daily basis...from what I hear anyways.
