Sorry, going to sound dumb again here, i've looked in content manager and cant find a way to downgrade to 4.9? currently running 5.0... any help would be appreciated
Reshade is a separate program, nothing to do with content manager. just download an older version from their website and re-install. I wonder how many people who have reshade installed actually make use of it. I had it installed for a while but didn't find any useful filter that would add anything on top of what SOL/PURE have to offer. But I don't care about screenshots or watch replays, so maybe that's why...



Different topic:
Big announcement from TGN on their FB page, they are planning to release a car pack containing unfinished mods. I don't know the reasoning behind this but this might lead to a lot of unfinished mods flooding the internet that never get updated. I'd prefer them to take the time to finish and release one car at a time and improve their quality standards since I haven't come across any "finished" car from them so far tbh.

Yes, I also noticed that lately their mod quality has dropped a lot...
 
Hi guys, just got the Honda touring car posted by Macedo today. I'm a total noob, so can someone help me? why does the car look like that and how do I fix it? It's the same on track too, i'm running csp 1.77.

Reinstall the car will fix it. The mod is encrypted and will look like that when you changed anything in data.acd / data folder or creating new preview. Some encrypted cars still allow us to make new previews.
Hello, thank you, yes this is true for the previews, but the car looks like that on the track too. I've clean installed 3 times just to be sure and still same issue. How do I fix that?

I believe you've tweaked something in the data folder? re-install the original data folder / data.acd should fix it

I fixed issue with tree wall (floating lines above tree tops); modified the UV maps.
I fixed issue with tree wall; re-pointed split-normals to vertical

I want to incorporate all of CrisT86’ work before I upload new version, i.e. I will hold-off.
Cris, I don’t know if you need the most current (but not yet uploaded) version to do your CSP magic.
I have not added lamps but that is a to-do.

What is the difference between an “update” and a “new version” on Race Department? I can’t tell correct way to post new version/update or whatever it’s called

If you're interested in fish in a pond, go into the large pond of the Hope race track, the one on the right when you first start a lap. I'm not sure if the free version has this "fish." If I remember correctly, you have to go off track to the left and go over the bridge to get to the parking lot next to the pond/lake.

@GaryUK I don't know if you saw my post two pages back, just wanted to make sure you are aware of it. Iirc the first release of the 2022 Spa update on RD had the same issue.

I know its for some experienced GT members a dumb question, but what is MrLonguiha17 creating here? I do see he is creating something of a car (skin, model) but apparently no download link to check what kind of car model he did create.
Did check questions from other members about his publishing, but he never did give an clear answer.
Can a member please explain what he is publish, or are these only teasers?
Hello..good morning mate. Of course "it's not provocation"...I'll try to explain it one more time. As most of the time these "conversions" of cars or making a "frankstein" car, I usually use "paid" mods that I bought, or others that I downloaded right here on GTPlanet, also from other games, mainly GTR2 and rfactor... no it's "NOTHING MINE"... I just assemble the "packs" to make it easier... and as I'm not an "expert" in 3d tools... there are numerous errors, but at least you can have fun "offline". Making it "openly" available to everyone..."impossible", we all know the rules that exist here and on other sites. About these Lotus (1968 version)...I don't remember which "friend" here from "GTPlanet" is part of the "perendinator" site where I downloaded the Lotus that I used as a base (Lotus 68 biplane and Lotus 49c)... if by chance "release", I can make available to all these Lotus from 1968. But just remembering, there are "some errors" in texture and others that do not prevent it from running on the tracks and having fun.

I recommend buying the full track or package from lemax,

-> with addtional full HIllclimb track.

i trashed the camtool app because you have to click several buttons to watch a camtool replay.

Is there a way to automatically start this after the race like a default replay?
 
On RaceDepartment User/Modder zelli made a complete overhaul/skin of the Paul Ricard Circuit Mod on RD if you remeber that from 2015.

APRIL PACK | RELEASED! | TGN MODDING This pack has been in development for more than two months now, and it's finally here! As previously mentioned, there are a bunch of cars and some might be better than others! The reasoning behind this is the origin of their 3d model. (Obviously the time we spent on each mod also counts, but mainly their 3d model) We, therefore, ask, that you submit ALL bugs you may find on our cars in or discord! There's a channel called "April-Car-Pack-Bugs" A lot of people have been asking, what happened to the w204s and Nissan GT-R. Those cars still need to be improved, which is why they won't be featured upfront but will be added later.

For those using @Pyyer F1 2021 mod for Imola (and you should be), drop these two files in the 'content\tracks\imola\imola_f1_2021\extension' folder, not the extension folder in the main track directory. This should darken up the trees and grass to look like they do if you are not using his mod. I just took the season stuff from the CSP version of the Imola.ini file and made a config to go along with @Pyyer's mod. Make sure to backup that folder first because this wasn't tested properly. I just made sure the trees got darker, but I don't see how this would mess with anything else he did.

I'll probably do a little work on this tonight because they have the season changes way off the mark. Fall comes way too early and I think the trees could be a little brighter. Also think I will make an option to eliminate the 3D trees as well. Man those things are ugly. BTW, I already eliminated them on Monza as well if anyone is interested. Never did make that available at RD like I did for Nords and BH.

Let me know if this causes issues with the mod so I can try and figure out why.

amazing and needed job, really thanks! hope @Pyyer could include it into his upcoming update! about imola i must say that @Blackcelica did an extraordinary skin for 2021, which included an amazing modification of the asphalt, one of the best looking asphalt i've ever seen in an AC track. With his permission i could share so maybe @Pyyer could also include it

Don't want to say more at the moment but expect some news soon on my Youtube channel and you probably should wait before wasting too much bucks on overpriced f1 track mods... 😏
