Just a remind. These steering wheel add-ons are not RSS official. Don't ask them, don't publish them in RSS discord server. Use at your own. I'm gonna update the wheels in the same respective post I've already made. In the coming days I might update all of them with correct LEDS, so stay tune.

Some times it seems like the escreen is broken, you know why? I tryed on both cars (normal and S version) and i have the same issue.

Realistic F1 DRS activation at last!!!

Just when you thought AC had gone as far as it could with F1 then @Schmawlik pops up with this Gem!!!

Thank you so much for this and your hard work in bringing it to us.

BTW it also works when you're on a blue flag - Excellent!

I asked them how easy would it be to adapt to other F1 car Mods?

Authors Answer: As for other cars working with the script, just add the script.lua file that is in the RSS data folder to any vehicle of your choice. The biggest potential issue is the AI might be a little slower than acceptable. If that is the case I can help you adjust it till it works as desired.
I've tried it with the Kunos SF15-T and SF70H, acr SF71H and SF90, and the Sim Dream SF1000 and F1-75. I made sure to copy the script.lua file into all their respective data folders before packing the data. It worked with none of them.

Hi @Fall Guy,
in Monza 1988 I just tinted the horizon a little darker and applied the [Material_Horizon] settings to horizon objects, as I usually do.
Nothing more, as mentioned before, because @racinjoe013 is working on config too.

Do you mean this for example in Zwartkops?

This can be changed to this:

I have changed a few more settings, but have not fine-tuned them yet. That's the reason why I'm not sharing it at the moment.
But the easiest way of achieving this for PURE is to disable FOG_SHAPE or better to set it correctly.

Currently, I am still looking for the correct values, like the average humidity there, etc.
So I just deactivated it at the moment to show the effect in the quickest way.
Code:
[PURE]
ACTIVE= 1
FOG_SHAPE = -1.0
There are a few more settings and there should also be SOL and SOL2 settings for better backwards compatibility, but as I said, for now, this should be enough. :)
Unfortunately, the original configuration has none of these settings.
I finished what I wanted to do with my config and sent it to @DaBaeda to use if he wants. It was to add working lights. I won't be posting it here though because it was a little more than a few config tweaks. Needed an additional model. I figure he can re-release the track with my changes if he wants to. I do need to send him a small update though because I made one small change to get lights on the back side of a couple of the bridges. Also realized today that there are no seasonal changes, but someone else can do those. If no one wants to, i'll do them.

EDIT: I just put my lights into your config and i'm going to have to adjust the intensity values if @DaBaeda wants to use a combination of your config and mine. The lights are not as bright with your config probably because of the adjustments you made to the texture brightness and illumination. Back to work. :)

I tried it with VRC FA22 and RSS FH22 - Both worked - Maybe older mods don't as the lua script requires CSP 1.78 or higher?

mmm...tested with RSS FH22 but drs rule works only for me, not for AI that use it from the beginning of the race.
Is F1regs app loaded automatically?

Guys I have the proper £25 504 now.
I've tried it.
Yours is better. LOTS better.
I bet the modder is laughing his ass off getting $25 for this half-assed garbage.
For that kind of money you'd expect refractive lights with working blinkers etc, wipers that don't jerk and stutter, a driver that actually touches the gear stick when shifting, shaders that don't turn nuclear in direct sunlight, a harness that fits the driver, hands that don't clip through the steering wheel like it's made of dust, car-like handling instead of the ocean-going barge we have here... I could go on.
The pictures looked nice though. Great job by the seller. Probably sells more at $25 than he would at $5 because more expensive = better quality, right?
Glad you crowd-sourced it Safi to spread the risk. This car is objectively worse than most new free FB mods, where a lot of modders actually take care with the details these days and use new CSP features.

Yeah, I have the same problem, it only works for me, the AI cars open the drs all the time and even if they are not within 1 second of the car ahead..

Hello

does somebody still have the AssettoGarage Lister Storm. The car was listed at Assettoland and most of the car links are down since their crash last year.

I would be really happy, if someone could help me out.

Thanx
Daniel

SNAP! Here is my 41 Le Mans car. Just finished. I haven't finished the #40 but no need since you have posted yours.
When I have finished the skin and #42 I will post them.

Tried at Imola by Kunos with Pyyer extension. Immediately after the start AI activates the drs while mine remains properly locked.

I've not driven it yet, I wasn't expecting anything amazing, the guy is clearly trying it on with his prices.
I've passed it on to a couple of people spread a little of the costs.

I just couldn't resist it, that modders pricing is flightsim mod pricing, i won't ever catch on, i doubt many buy at those prices not in the simracing community, its just not normal.
£5 is considered top end in sim modding.

You should fix it up and sell it for $30..!

the app WORKS, great.... but

Bugs (at least for me)
  • It works only for the AI (its ok I give myself rules to open drs only when deserved)
  • the game crashes (yes, after a few laps... it crashed also with cars with no drs... i had to delete the LUA folder and it came back to normal)

So, that's my experience but I repeat, before the crashes the app worked perfectly for AI, perfectly

Total game changer, let's hope in fixes

Lol, never. The business model of sim cars at £25 isn't viable regardless of quality.
iRacing sells theirs for 15 quid so anything over that is insane....
OK so i purchased it, so i am insane, but in the larger scheme of things and out of the context of sims £25 is not even getting my car 40 miles....
£25 quid disappears in seconds just going out anywhere these days, at least i know where this 25 quid went.
Modder will then spend it on some trash or bills...and that there folks is the economy at work.
