I must get myself one of these cars that changes manual gears by telekinesis.
I'm guessing TGN uses chase cam?
The Kunos MKIV Supra shifting animation is an awful fit but still better than nothing as a quick effort-free fix until something better comes along.
Change the timing thus. Gotta say, whoever started this trend of having BLEND_TIME=200 needs their PC confiscating.

As a Londoner myself, the most accurate London track that exists in a game(from Gran Turismo 5), isn’t in AC yet. I live in hope that track can be realised one day.
I am not a Londoner, but I have the same hope.
To be able to drive those streets in AC in VR would be so nice.
 
@racinjoe013 If you may have missed it, i reworked (even not finished) the semaphore, and glass of the building, and i'm working on the 3D sign of the hungaroring. If you want (once done your stuff) we can merge the work together (strating from the base of the work done by @Junshen Wu, Slider if i'm not wrong and all the others in order to have a finished version instead of 2-3-4 frankenstein version of this track.
Too many people to quote so i'll just respond to all of them. Thanks for the opinions. I was unaware that it's been 3 years since any kind of update. I'd say it's safe to release updates publicly. I also didn't know who did the track to begin with to reach out to them. It doesn't list an author in CM and I got the track directly from a Mega or Sharemods link so no name was attached to it.

@CrisT86 I did miss that you were updating the track. Sorry about that. I think it's the second time I did that to you. I'm going to have to pay closer attention. Merging the work would be great because there's nothing worse than 10 different updates floating around. I haven't done anything special though. All i've done is remove the pines in turn 1 and add some distant trees because it looked to barren off in the distance. I also made some small changes to the grassfx more to my liking and a couple of grass skins. If you've done that kind of stuff already, no need for you to add my stuff. I'll just sit back and wait until you are done and enjoy the improvements. If you want to see what i've done and use anything you like, let me know and i'll package everything up and get it to you.

I did just finish one other thing, but it sounds like you did it already. I did the flag lights and some generic track light settings, but they could be done better. Tough track for making night lights. A lot of the objects are in the same meshes so it's difficult to get alignment right. Offset the light direction for one area and it throws off another area.

Hey guys

A quick question: how do I swap helmets in a car?

For example, I want to know if it is possible to put Arturo Merzario´s helmet (available here > https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/assorted-1970s-helmets-pt-2.50384/ <) in the Bazza´s Ferrari 312 PB.

Is there a easy way to do that?
Hi FlyingSaucer9, it is possible and very easy to do. Just copy the 'helmet_1975.dds' and (if there is one) 'helmet_glass_1975.dds' files into the skin folder you want. Overwrite the existing versions if you don't want to keep them, rename them if you do. That should be it.

Occasionally, you may find that in game the helmet appears as a default red version. This was a problem with Content Manager which has been corrected in the latest version.

think the cars engine ini is wrong

car just sits at the lights. limiter needs boosting to 8500 i think from a quick look over

also i cant repack the data for some reason.
 
I have a problem loading the car, Bmw 635csi : error-content/driver/driver_oval_B.kn5 couldn't set texture.
How do I solve this? Thank you.
I have no such problem with any of the three BMWs downloaded from that page...

My impression was that their cars are only used for photo sessions inside leaked patreon showrooms.
Not sure why everybody loves them 🤷‍♂️
...everyone under the age of 16 who has never driven a car irl. I usually don't download TGN mods any more but the "standards of todays TGN" triggered me smh...

Like the track-combo you've put together here... Have you guesstimated what milage it would be? Hypothetically speaking of course - sounds like a project I'd be interested to do AI lane and replay cams... And have a crack at it on @FileMissings' Hotlap Server... I dare say we have a positively thriving and collaborative set of skills within GTplanets' audience - how about it? (all-in... 👍)

I think this would be amazing if you made it. You might already know that RMi released a fantasy circuit called Mixta which combined famous track sections and that is brilliant to drive.

 
Nukedrop / Tyrone has another London layout from NFS Shift on his patreon-page. But dont get our hopes too high - this is a very basic track without a working AI-solution.

It's especially odd that the other layouts have not been converted as we already have this really nice version of the locale (previewed a few pages back), plus one of the other SHIFT2 layouts is a really nice drift track, which seems to be very popular amongst some of the AC fans.

I'm still holding out that someday a track modder will take this on and do it properly.

Amaroo Park Raceway was a 1.9 kilometres (1.2 mi) motor racing circuit located in Annangrove, New South Wales, in the present-day western suburbs of Sydney, Australia. Opened in 1967. It was closed in 1998.
The name Amaroo comes from the Aboriginal word meaning beautiful place. (wikipedia)

[UPDATE] Brand Badges for CM 1.1

I have stumbled upon F1-results.com and found a lot of interesting F1 constructors from the past, most of which have logos. I have also replaced some existing brand badges with more HQ counterparts, courtesy of the Forza Horizon 5 texture files. Most of these F1 constructor logos will be added, as well as some brands you may have never heard of. For Creation Autosportif, I had to extract the logo from Race Driver: Grid's files.

Beware, the Infiniti is FWD which is IMO unforgiveable, to not research that has really annoyed me.
But why I hear you ask are you so annoyed?

Data is encrypted. So I have a FWD Infiniti.

Last time i reached out about an issue with one of their mods I got a response 2 weeks later but no action.
1st studio if you are watching, please sort it out...... RWD!

WOW! Just caught this before I purchased. That is extremely disappointing.

Yep, i guess they will fix it but they only do updates via CM and i turned that off ages ago.
I can let a lot slide, i never expect anything to be exactly like the real thing, its just not going to happen,
I am happy that pretty much every FWD BTCC car feels about the same so happy with cut and paste physics....
but making RWD car FWD is just basics, its famous for Ash Sutton hooning it around sideways at times, the point of the Infiniti is that it is RWD.
