Does anyone know what the difference between the Endurance and Sprint versions of the ACC GT3 car mods for AC 2014 is? I can see the data.acd files are different sizes but have no real idea what the differences are.

The file sizes are pretty large and I don't want to keep multiple versions of the same car either way, so I was wondering which of the two I should pick. I hardly ever do races that are over 15 laps, if that makes a difference.

My understanding is that the only differences are visual - the endurance versions have extra lights for night racing.

Good evening

Can somebody have a look at the attached log please and tell me why, when I go to play a replay the game crashes. I hope its what you need.

Hi guys,

the next BPR skin is ready for rollout.

I hope you like it :-)

Tommy78 released his Sierra, anybody so happy as I?
I just got it
I like the handling, not sure where the model is from originally
car model looks good
Not too keen on the sounds, gearbox whine is nice.
But doesnt really sound like a sierra to me

Model is scratch made like all his other mods
Not necessarily doubting you, but it looks remarkably similar to a whole bunch of older Sierra mods, and looks similarly dated by today's standards. Are you 100% sure it's completely scratch made?
Happy to confirm that any doubts I had were unfounded. :)

The fourth race of the 1970 season at Spa with BRM P153/Pedro Rodriguez.
But the "graphics" even with better quality, could have the image with better "fluidity".
I'm using practically the same settings from a friend who posted videos (virtually the same hardware, monitor also at 60Hz, RTX 2060 video card, 16GB RAM, processor, even though they are different, they are equivalent....

and even so I can't get to the level of "fluidity", that is, practically a real image, without small "lags", I don't know where I can adjust more.

This is just my 914-6gt skins, #s 8,9,0. The difference (from V1.5 skins) is the PORSCHE banner on the rocker panels is in body color and extends wheelwell to wheelwell. Also hides the plates (not in CM showroom). These are renamed so they don't interfere.

EDIT:
CREP. Had to fix the hide-plates ext-config.ini for these skins as the .kn5 name changed. Now fixed. Re-down if you want hidden plates...
OR download the ext-config.ini (remove .txt) and drop it into each skin folder that needs plate hiding.
AAAAnd changed the icon info in ui.skin.jason to match. Dang.

I guess I'm not an expert when it comes to 3d modelling to be honest,

Here though are the WIP shots he posted on his facebook over the past 6 months, he posts quite a lot of these for each of his cars months before they come out with transparency I don't usually see from those that are selling conversions.

Would be happy to accept otherwise if there is strong proof that these are conversions otherwise of course.

LODs will need redoing if they were done before the shader changes to the number plates - seems like the lighter version pops in at LOD_B..?

Hate to be that guy to ask but is there anyway to get a closer match of the original wheels ?

Even just a reskin of some black and silver in the ones already pre existing?

Mac10 Version came close, but i think the wheels on this are better but they are either all chrome or all black

Some variation within the skins is great but thought I would mention, either way keep up the great work all those who have contributed towards this great car.

Mac10 Version (but too much Deep dish)

Cool, thanks. I'm probably absolutely wrong after further inspection, and happy to correct that earlier misconception.

What is the best Road Atlanta track version ?

@Paintbox try this new driver model, shifting animation and positioning for the Tommy Sierra. The original one looked a little odd to me in VR.
His hand clips through the gearknob but it's a lot closer than it was, and the movement is a lot more natural.
If Tommy wants to use this, then great. The gearstick could use shortening by an inch or so.
(remove the .txt extension, back up your originals first)

I seem to be stuck with the shorty driver in the 914-6_sonauto (v1.5)... I tried swapping with the Mac10 driver (driver_60) but he's slumped low too. Notable that in CM showroom he sits up straight (still too low) but at the track he's slumped forward staring at the steering wheel. Anyone know how I can raise him up? Tried upping the y axis value in driver3d.ini but nothing happens there.

EDIT: Moved him a tad in CM.

driver_60 is just the race suit, gloves and helmet styles, which can be wrapped onto any driver model.
steer.ksanim is the actual driver model/posture.

o and the 914 sonauto has new issue (since v1.4 I think) : you can see the track through the bottom of the car!
:)
not for me, you can only see the ass of the driver going through the bottom, the car has some really little annoying bugs imo
