New CSP is out.
Anyone else finding that AI cars all now immediately dive across the track onto the racing line as soon as the race starts?
It looks a little silly.

Oh that's just great. I was already having trouble with some AI cars on the right side of the grid turning hard right into the wall at the start.

Yesterday I found a mod of the Reynard 92D on this site: https://hillclimbheroes.weebly.com/

The Reynard 92D was an open-wheel car which used to race on F3000 and in my opinion one of the most beautiful feeder-series car. But as I installed the car and after adding some skins form the 1992 Japanese F3000 (from rFactor) I saw the mod is a bit outdated and not finished. Does anyone want to improve or polish this mod?

It needs some improvements on the driver position, it doessn't have tyres FX and maybe needs some work with the shaders and textures

after removing the PSD files that are included, compressing the dds files , and compacting the car folder ,
I'm left with it taking up 60MB of space on my SSD :

When they do qualifying for the Nordschleife 24h IRL
The cars do the short loop of the Nurburgring to pass the finish line
and start the qualifying lap before entering the Nordschleife.
It's this way in ACC
On the AC track there is a wall preventing this.
Has someone ever fixed this in a mod

Hey, thanks for the mod. I've been loving it so far, yet there's one crucial issue that I've run into: the car sometimes reacts very violently over curbs and bumps, often causing it to suddenly jolt up or fly into the air completely. This is very debilitating and annoying as you might imagine, and I wanted to reach out to you to find out if there would be a way to fix this. I am currently on version 0.2.4-preview1. This has also been an issue on other versions of CSP, and disabling extended physics doesn't do anything either. I hope there will be a way to solve this.

I was hoping the new csp and pure update would maybe calm the grass down a bit, because I like how everything looks in LCS besides the grass. Now LCS grass is even more ridiculous, and gamma grass is brighter than ever. There has to be something I'm doing wrong somewhere.

Just wondering, has anyone ever bothered to make a pitcrew_Left.kn5 out of the alternative retro pit guy that RSS made for the 1970 f1 car? Its a pretty cool change but it is a bit silly that you can only use him if the pits are on your right side

Anyone have a feel for how the new CSP is? I'd prefer to wait a few days to see what new and exciting bugs the build has before paying in/fully rolling over to a clean install. I'm not interested one bit in the snow/ice physics - more about where the general physics are and if major bugs have been cleaned up.

I see the reports about odd behavior at the starts of races, and that's disappointing, of course - but in the patch notes, Ilja seems fairly confident that the "Russian Roulette" of cars not going off the line about 25% of the time is fixed. I guess I'll take that trade if it's indeed the case.

I can't read the comments on the Patreon post either, as those require me being paid in as well - which is a bit silly.


Sort of looking for a general "state of the build" if anyone has been driving a lot today. Cheers.

Is there an improved grassFX or grass textures for LA Canyons? I loaded the track today and the grass color is almost non-existent. I understand that grassFX uses the color of the base texture/material, and for LA Canyons it is mostly rock and sand, so the grass is that color. Green grass would be nice, but the current version doesn't even look like dried and burnt grass in the California heat.

Hope and prayer for this one.

My prayers might be answered! LA Canyons might be getting grass!
