That's funny. I'm sure it got a lot of downloads too. Brownninja & his pals were building a TS020 but there have been continuous setbacks and delays. So, I'm sure a lot of people thought, "Finally! It's here.". Unfortunately, I don't know if it will ever see a public release. Heck, I'm starting to wonder if we'll ever see the TS040 or Audi R18 we've been hearing about forever. They'll never be able to compete with the Porsche 919s, because they're too old, right?
The package of 8 cars goes by the name FD Replicas. I think you should give them all a shot, but fortunately, you may download individual cars if you choose. Enjoy!
Wow...I wasn't expecting the Google Drive link to post like that. Wow...Well, I guess it's cool.
I believe it's Formula Drift, but I wouldn't bet my life on that. I'm pretty sure that's what it is. If you run any of these cars, take a look at the default alignments. Unless you're only looking to drift with these cars, I don't know if the stock alignment is going to be too good for you. I always had to change mine.Thank you ALB123, what does FD stands for?

I'm sorry. I didn't realize the BMW's were incapable of running AI. I'll keep my eye out for an update. For upgrading tires in Content Manager, here goes.Thank you sir! These BMW's don't have AI funtion, but all are definitely a handful, unique in handing! Hey, do you know how exactly to change tires (compound or wheel size?) to v10 in content manager?.............I don't have a grasp exactly how that process works.
@Cote Dazur -- Yeah...Pretty much all of my drifts are accidents too.
I'm sorry. I didn't realize the BMW's were incapable of running AI. I'll keep my eye out for an update. For upgrading tires in Content Manager, here goes.
Obviously, you need to be in the Content > Cars section and you're going to want to select the car with old tires that you'd like to upgrade. Then hit the Replace Tires button on the button row of CM. CM then does a superfast scan of your cars to find out what every car is currently using.
The new window called "Found Tyres" pops up. I felt that window was way too small so I stretched it out a good size so nothing was overlapping. It will save your resize which is awesome. On the left hand side is the car your going to be upgrading. After that vertical dividing line is all of the different (unique) tires available to you. If you look back over to the left side you'll see that it tells you the size of your car's tires. I'm using a mod Audi R8 right now and it has Front Tyres: 235/25/R19 and Rear Tyres: 295/20/R19. Underneath that it says "Existing Sets". Those are the types of tires you could choose from when you're on the track and in the pits. In my case I have 2 sets of tires, Street & Semislick.
Looking back over on the right side of that Vertical divider, you see a very long list of available tires to choose from. You see two rectangles with various colors and then the name of the tire from (car name) and it tells you which version they are and then Rear or Front (this is very important). Finally it most likely says Made By Kunos in the rightmost column.
Those two rectangular boxes are always going to be Fsome letter) and Rsome letter) underneath. Those stand for Front and Rear tires and the letters after the colon are the grade (how close of a match are they, size wise, to the car you're upgrading). So, if you see F:A / R:F it means that particular tire would work perfectly as a replacement FRONT tire but terrible as a replacement REAR tire. You'll notice that the available tires are almost always paired together in the rows.
Let's say that F:A (Front Tire: Perfect Match) is the tire you want to use. click on it but don't release - drag it over to the front tire that you'd like to replace. I always make sure that I drop front tires onto the front tire slot of my existing car and then the same with the rear. If you're upgrading a car from TM7 to TM10 you'll get a warning reminding you that you're changing the Tire Model version and therefore ALL TM7 tires will have to be discarded. That's because the tyres.ini file in the car's data.acd file (or data folder) can only list one tire model. You can't have multiple Tire Models in use on the same car.
Okay...So you agreed to let CM discard your old TM7 tires. You should now see probably only 1 set of tires on the left side of the vertical divider because you've only moved 1 set of the new TM10 tires to your car. If both the Front and Rear tires have a Green A you've matched them perfectly. Let's say those were Semi-slicks. Now you'll probably want to find a set of Street Tires that will fit your car. Do the same thing...scroll through the available tires looking for a car that has a Front AND Rear tire that match your car's size with a grade of A. Then you'll know they're a perfect match. Let's say you can't find anything that's graded A but you can find something that's graded B. Go ahead and drag it from the right side to the left side and let go of the mouse button underneat the new set of Semi-slicks you are putting on your car.
You'll notice that a grade B usually means it's super close to what your car had originally. Maybe the new TM10 tires are a 245/25/R19 while the originals were 235/25/R19. It's not a perfect match, but it's not going to cause you any problems either. You might want to be careful with swapping tires with different rim sizes though, because it might throw off the speedometer, but I don't know for sure as I've never tried doing that in Assetto Corsa.
You may find yourself in cases where the Front Tires of a car are a perfect match, but the rear tires are an E or F. You do not want to use those of course. It's okay, you can mix and match tires from different Kunos cars onto the car you're upgrading. I've been in situations where I was upgrading a mod car from the 90s and the Ferrari F40 front tire was the only Grade A match I could find. But the rear tires were an E because they're super wide on the F40 and my car only required 275's or something like that. Fortunately, I found 275s on a different car so I dragged them and dropped them onto the REAR tire box on the left side.
I hope this is making sense. I was very confused at first! Hey, if you ever F up you can always hit the Cancel button and no harm will be done. And, since youre obviously upgrading a mod car that means you know how to move files around in the game to install mod cars. You could always make a backup of that entire car before you do this process. That way if you don't like the way the new tires feel you can just delete the car in your cars folder and move the copy back into the cars folder.
******** MOST IMPORTANT THING *********
Make sure you're replacing tires from a similar size/type of car. Weight is important. You don't want to put tires from a light weight tiny Mini Cooper onto a tuned RX-7 just because they're both using 255s or whatever. I'm just making something up off the top of my head. You can do it...but don't be surprised if the tires wear down quicker. The tires from the Mini Cooper were designed for a particular load and slapping them onto something that weighs 50% more probably isn't a great idea.
Try it out...Make a backup of the car before you start if you're not 100% sure of yourself...or, just make sure you have the downloaded file of that mod laying around so you can delete and replace it if you totally muck it up. I'm sure once you do a set or two of tires you'll get the hang of it so easily.
Good luck! Let me know if this helps you or not...I hope I wasn't being too vague.
Isn't he? My God. 3D Modelling is extremely difficult when trying to accurately represent something complex from the real world. He whips these models up with such precision. Regarding this car...I didn't post one of the interior shots A3DR posted over on RD. He said something like "just using place holders for the dials at the moment.." I thought to myself, "Those things look freakin' amazing! What the heck could he possibly improve?!" He really is an artist's artist. I love the Laguna Seca & track map on the back. Gimme 4 hours, I'll come back with a 640x480 rendering of a chrome ball on a black & white checkered floor. Pfft...Mine would probably still have a bad case of jaggies...I'm pretty sure A3DR is some sort of 3D modelling robot.
Well, the mod to end all mods has arrived!!

Yes, but they solved that by placing a thimble full of neutronium inside the vehicle's interior. Unfortunately, that has a mass of 100 million tons, so the suspension, tires, wheel and pretty much everything else nearby was crushed beyond recognition...Which is comprehensively offset by the mile high center of gravity.
Yes please!I really hope this is released in my lifetime.

It's a hoot! Did you manage to get it up on two wheels? It's really easy, and fun!
I did a couple times, usually with the help of the curbs. I thought I was going to flip a few times too! I managed a super quick 10:59 around Nurburgring TF
Completely missed this, my gosh. The game seriously needs more Mustangs.I'm looking forward to this bad boy:
I'm not even a Mustang fan in real life...but I do think the more recent generations are looking really good and I just know this car is going to be awesome in AC because of who's doing the project. 👍
