"SMP Racing BR03 Prototype"​

Russian company BR Engineering presented a new racing sport prototype BRO3, the presentation of which was held on the 18th of May in Moscow.

The car was developed by a Russian team consisting of 100% Russian technical specialists.

SMP Racing program drivers who have extensive and successful experience not only in endurance racing but also in working with the world's best engineers and mechanics also took part in the development.

BR03 is designed specifically for endurance races in Russia.

The technical base of the sports prototype is mixed. The transmission is of foreign production since no equivalent in Russia would be suitable for the task. However, almost all other components and joints were manufactured in Russia.

The car is certified by the RAF (Russian Automotive Federation) to perform in national competitions in Russia.

All BR03 cars will be delivered to customers with all the necessary documents that allow them to participate in the races.

P.S. from me: I tested the prototype yesterday - amazing and fun to drive!
3D-model is good, maybe a little lack of better AO and some better textures and some CSP features. Also, BR03 is positioned at the LMP3 level of performance, but how true this information from the SMP is - needs to be checked. :)
As for the tracks in the pack, I did not have time to check them and therefore I don’t know if they have any differences from those releases that were here earlier in the thread.

I don't understand why many rushed to condemn the Legion without really understanding the situation.
Perhaps something happened and he simply cannot write about it in the thread. Maybe sick or something worse. Moreover, this has already happened before.
His blog has always been open, I don't think he would have closed the page without warning anyone here about it.
So we just need to wait for someone from the Legion to reply on the thread and hope for the best. :)

It completely misses the CSP features, so i create it from scratch and fixed the various materials in order to fit the new standards

WARNING:
- Without CSP v0.174 or above, you will crash during the loading screen.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Content Manager
  • Assetto Corsa v1.16.3 (ALL Official DLCs)
  • Custom Light Shader v0.174 or higher (WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY IF NOT USING THE LATEST OR CSP IS NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY)

HEAVILY RECOMMENDED:
  • Sol 2.2 or higher
  • Inmersive PPFilter

IMPORTANT:
  • Remove any previous installation of the mod before proceeding
  • Be sure to have Custom Shader Patch v0.1.74 or above or you will crash. CSP is MANDATORY!
  • Make sure you have the latest Content Manager Or else you will Crash!
  • Use 7-zip File Manager to extract the mod, or else corruption during extraction is possible.

INSTALLATION:
- Extract the "CONTENT" folders into your Assetto Corsa Main Directory.

WARNING: This mod is HEAVILY DEPENDENT on Custom Shader Patch or these car mods will not work properly as intended.

Is there a way to report that the Nissan has some reflective stuff going on in the car's frame (or however is called the part below the tail)?
 
Hi! I have a problem. This happens with many mod cars.
When I push the throttle, car is tooooo slow to speed up and the mod is unplayable.
Last car tested is ATCC GrpC Mazda RX7. I don't know if it's a problem of the mod or any other game setting.

yeah since you posted that link its escalated.

i got an 037 that i may include. its on the backburner at the minute. hard decision as with some other cars is do you use real world figures or try to balance them a bit more. the 037 without bop is basically grid filler.

to be fair all the cars are technically real. theres a few that were made but regulation changes stopped them from racing as you know. i guess the only truly contentious one is the f150, which does physically exist (and is an excuse to have a use for the fxx)

theres an f40 in my post. im pretty sure its a gte .

i could have a go at a mirage but its so similar to the lambos already included not sure if its worth the time. also another forum member was gonna send me his countach gt1 to finish off. ill have to take a look at how many cars in total as it may rise to around 30.

i was on the lookout for a decent db7 model if anyone has one.
it's not the GTE it's the LM Package the GTE has a different package as shown here: the one currently in AC is the LM package.

@CrisT86 thank you for this. I gather the only way to retain the grass detail where ksGrass shader has been used is a revised kn5? In other words it is not possible to fix with just ext_config.ini (with shader replacement) on its own? Thank you again :cheers:

It would be maybe, but is a thing i'm not aware of.

How to change the main shader yes, is a thing i can do via ext_config, but how to set each "layers of texture" like you can do in ksEditor no, i didn't found a solution even check the wiki of CSP (but maybe i missed it), so the only solution i foud is to edit the original KN5 and share the one "fixed".

Just tried it. It works fine. Push in clutch, put it in gear, give it gas, let out clutch and it's vroom time.
 
Give it a fair amount of throttle. Some cars need a decent rev up in 1st gear to get going. And of course release the clutch slowly.

make sure you get the "slot" name right, i mean "txDetail" and such
