Ladies, gentlemen,

You should not, for any reasons, skip this one :

PS : I promise, the next one will be the Fairlady's combo... might be. Soon.
It's mods like this that make me realize I will never take any of the newer driving sims seriously. Despite all of AC's flaws (ai, lack of yellows, etc.) and all the the new shiny graphics in newer sims, nothing excites me as much as taking a mod like this out for a few laps on a track like Le Mans 67. Throw in some rain effects from Ilja and wonderful weather from @Peter Boese and it just doesn't get any better. I don't think there will ever be another sim that gives me all of these options, even EVO with what sounds like limited mod support. The amount of tracks\cars to choose from just won't ever be matched again, IMHO.

If Ilja can figure out how to integrate halfway-decent AI behavior and fold (a working version of) Nuzzi's AI Pit Strategy app into CSP, I will never need another sim. I've deluded myself into hoping that's what he's working on (although from snooping around, I'd guess that it's likely the kerb behavior/global CSP Physics that he's finally going after in earnest).

There's just no sim like AC that nails the driving feeling - from the weight and effects of the FFB to the feeling of weight transfer in corners (still the best in sim racing IMO to this day). It's just sublime when everything's clicking.

And the amount of content is staggering - to me, it is quite literally a fully digital, interactive motorsports/automotive encyclopedia. I'm one of the crazies who decks out the UI files for each car and track with all the right information to the last detail, and copy/pastes whatever info is available from trusted sources on the web - so after driving around for a few hours, I can sit there and read about the car and track history/fun facts/details etc as I wind down.

No other racing simulator can replicate this - and it's why AC is indispensable. From recent reports, EVO will be a completely different end product - which is a shame, but gives life to AC for at least the next 5 years or more.

also, I have tried searching for it but can't find anything.. Does anyone know if there is a Camtool file for the 1992 Round 16 Adelaide track?

I think this is from the ASR season pack.. 👇

Spot on mate. For me as a classic F1 fan AC is pure perfection. If there's an issue (like you mentioned those lack of yellows, idiotic outlap cars, etc) it's still as good as it can get.

Sure I will get the EVO. Sure I will try the Open World. But I don't really, really care.

But honestly for me classic F1 has gotten to this point in 10 years. With amazingly good track packs, cars, etc. It's almost unlimited how much you can improve things. Only your imagination and of course your skills are the only limiting factor. AC is a virtual encyclopedia of historic stuff and the only platform where you can actually "relive" the racing eras.

We had a great discussion about this in the EVO area.

Sublime.
Not surprised to see Gadu credited under 'detailing, materials'. His cars are always a pleasure to sit in.

Isn't it ?
I'm no specialist, but even if I try my best, I'd say he is the goal to reach.

"Look's like a Fat-Alfie's track" might be the greatest compliment you could receive for tracks, the car's version would be "look's like a Gadu's car"
