Or we could just criticise the work and not the person. Why does everything have to be ad hominem attacks these days? I blame Trump. But obviously, I'm not criticising him. Just his hairdo.
Then he needs to do the same. The reviewers he attacked criticized his work, not his person. He came back with personal attacks. So who is the one guilty of criticizing someone's person? Seems pretty obvious to me who it is. And as I said, if he wants to make it personal, then I can't defend the guy when he gets attacked personally. He is the one who opened the door...

Not sure we are agreeing on what ad hominem means. I haven't read everything he wrote but I can't remember him issuing targeted personal attacks when stating his position. Telling someone they're not a modder isn't quite the same thing at all. Anyway, we've probably flogged this particular horse so I'm happy to back out and bow to popular opinion.
Man look, ofc you would say that if you didn't see what he wrote. So i'm going to bring an example

The guy just asked kindly if he could add more pitbox. Instead of talking about the point, he makes personal attacks toward the guy, not just to say that he isn't a modder so he doesn't know best, but just to humiliate the guy in place, and tell him to bow down.

Again are you sure you want to defend this kind of person? Do askin a feature warrant the 7 line trashtalk about the guy personally?

If this doesn't fit your definition of "ad hominem" then I don't understand how you can call what we did (which is strictly speaking, talking about flaws of his work and how his eflated ego makes him talk to people like they're peasants) "ad hominem" when we are tackling the core issue.

Again, who is the bully?

This is not a matter of "popular opinion". Human decency isn't an opinion.

I once tried contacting him to talk about his non existing track limits on Portimão being due to a surface.ini completely empty and he insisted that it was the ai sidelines that managed the track limits...

Moved AC using Steam from my 500GB int NVME to ext 1TB NVME, while updating to Win11. During that process ~370GB (compressed with CM) content folder expanded to 700+GB. How do I put the genie back in the bottle? If compress again with CM, Steam will uncompress with the move back to the 500GB and won't fit?

Of course yes. The compression is not a "physical change of the size", but a local compression. By moving the same file from a disk to another, the compression will be removed. The only way you have is to move blocks of the files, compress them (maybe use an external tool like CompactGUI instead CM ones) and then repeat for all the remain "chunks" until you moved all the files back in place.
