Bit of a goof on my part. I forgot to match the ambient and diffuse values with the original flags. They probably rendered a bit dark compared to the original ones. Download the attachment to get the updated flags.kn5 file.Addition to a small mod I did two years ago for melbourne_2019. That mod added some additional crowds around the track. This time I added animation to all of the country flags on top of the pit building. It won't animate the smaller F1 and Melbourne flags just yet. Those require making a new flag object. Since it took forever to place the 64 country flags, i'm a little burnt out at the moment.
You will need to add this code somewhere in your existing ext_config file to hide the non-animated flags:
[MODEL_REPLACEMENT_...]

I and a few others spoke with Mr BJ about the car not being a part of the paid patreon as it was taken from another modder. I have been told that it was a mistake to be in the paid tier, I have been assured it will not happen again lest I will have no choice but to travel to Australia and shove a crumpet up his arse, I dont take pleasure in this but actions have consequences.
Back on topic in terms of differences between the two models its all cosmetic.

Unfortunately, this did not work either.turn off smart shadows, something is broken in 0.2.8 p1
Little tweak to the ambient and diffuse values so the lights that are off don't look like they are on in direct sunlight.Got the starting lights working properly. It will require replacing one of the track's default kn5 files. Hope that won't mess with online races.
Download the attached zip file. To be safe, rename the track's 100.kn5 file and in the track's data folder, rename the startinglights.ini file. Then extract the files.
