Maybe it happend after some tweaking of the fog engine itself.
Could you check, which "atmosphere" level would fit the older version?

I did some tests and it seems a value of 0.68 is working the best. Might be a result of fixing the lowest possible fog presence.
Did some test screens with various pp filters (always latest versions!!!). Value 0.68 for atmosphere and smog distance level at 0.720

Regarding the comatose state at loaded race with GT3 cars.
As long as I'm not using any of the ChemFlummi's (anyone, 296, Continental, Callaway and Reiter) everything is right.
My system doesn't like them. I do, sadly. The Reiter's Gallardo scream haunts me in my sleep.
Maybe if I cut down the grid count to 15 I could load a few of those but that's it.

I thought it was getting worse with latest CSP. Once I removed the "offending" cars the performance of 24 GT3 cars is really better, Ilya made it tighter.

Maaan, why the CF cars are so cool but so cursed.

You can use the app "Match start fuel with AI App 1.6" by Nuzzi. I've tested it now and it works really well. But it doesn't work for multiclass races (e.g. WEC with Hypercars and GT3) as all AI cars get exactly the same fuel amount as the player's car. If the player's car has only fuel for the half of the race and you have to pit, the AI will also need to pit.

I just tested this app along with Fuel Manager and Nuzzi's pitstop strategy and I'm still having the issue, unfortunately. I watched the race replay and it turned out the reason of the AI not pitting at all is that they magically get refuelled when they burn around 50 % of the fuel amount they carry on their cars (which btw I set the exact amount like me with "Match start fuel with AI" app) . I have no idea why is this happening, but it's so weird. It might be that these apps do not work very well with Weekend mode or maybe that Fuel Manager is conflicting with the other apps.

I just noticed that the carbon on the Kunos cars (I think all but I checked only a few), is ****ed up...
eg. the Pagani Zonda R , it looks like this for me:

1743267436807.png

it's been a while since I loaded this car , but I cannot believe it was like that ... was it?

Has something changed in CM or CSP that kinda breaks the default Kunos carbon (and maybe other textures as well) ?
Is there a setting to change in order to have it look nice again?

I made an extension file to fix this , now it looks OK again... but surely we should not be fixing Kunos cars ... it should be the defacto standard and they should keep looking fine without any need to tamper , right?

 (sorry if this has been asked before, I can't recall and searched but didn't find anything on this topic)

Good evening, dear community. Its my first time actually writing in this forum because i have a rather strange problem. After installing the newest shader patch and pure, the smoke when barking and also the flames of the cars are gone. D Also the head- and rear lights off the cars are much darker then before? oes someone have a simular problem?

Hi, smoke and dust are ok here.
Have you tried reinstalling csp? There is the "reinstall current version" button in Settings/CustomShadersPatch/About&Updates

Quickest test you can do.

Maybe I need to adjust my monitor, but none of those pics look very good or realistic. I'm looking out my window as I type this and none of them look anything like the world outside my window. The colors are dull. The whole atmosphere feel is weird. By that I mean that cool\warm combo you see from the yellowing of the sunlight on things like the grass and trees mixed with the blue reflection of the sky on the overall scene. Those pics have none of that.

Is that what LCS looks like or are those taken in gamma mode?

Quick question - does altering the tyre radius alter a cars handling, or is it simply something that alters the appearance of the car? I bought an F1 paid mod recently (from a company i shouldnt have - i should have known better as their work leaves a lot to be desired!!). Anyways, i've finally got the rear tyres to actually sit on the tarmac rather than floating in the air, since then though i SWEAR the car is now borderline undriveable. I made some other small physics updates, is it the adjusting of the tyre radius that is making the car unstable?
My simple opinion...try adjusting the height of the car in the "suspension" file in the "DATA" folder (depending on what the problem is with the drivability)... and perhaps it is also necessary to adjust the "RIDE" suspension adjustment lines in the "car" file also in the "DATA" folder.I have done this many times and it has improved the drivability a lot.

Don't know if it's the case for the rest of them, but I know for the ferrari, the default skins are very large and not really compressed much if at all. When it was used on LFM, someone shared a compressed version of all default skins. Helped a little with performance for me - https://mega.nz/file/5rknERZL#5CC5Ky3bSRjYt9pEPRwNdjVmlbMcHuBNwvc_eAg9A_Q.

Just wondering if anyone happens to know where I can get hold of the the 2010 FIA GT Championship Cars from Tomsim, who made the recent and very good Ford Riley DP?

I believe he has a discord site, but 'I don't do discord', so I'm looking for an alternative if such a thing exists.

I'll give that a shot this afternoon, thanks for the tip!

There's an EASY way to download all Tomsim cars. You can find them at the ACTK Garage.

Or you could be a sensible person and ask for their discord server instead of entertaining that motherless buffoon and his ****** site.

edit : aaaaw my second poop emoji from totally-not-EASY/ACTK-marc-magnela, my day is done

I thought about skins weight.
I'm using a fictional skinpack (found on Overtake, by Mathonner and Rapier22.cm) that includes 2 URDs, 5 RSS's, 4 ChemFlummi's and the McLaren Evo from whistleblower. (the BOP I posted few pages ago)
Most of these skins are well compressed.
The McLaren doesn't have LODs, but that's not the issue I'm sure.

Thanks for sharing though, the pack could be useful anyway.

I agree, although the Pure standard looks the best of these photos.

All of them are shot with LCS and latest pure 2.57.

Are these realistic? I don´t know. I don´t give a heck about. It was just to show how the mountains in the background can look like with various pp filters having the same setting applied in pure config since this was the initial topic of Masscot.

Hi gents,
To illustrate the point of the wheels not touching the ground, here are two screenshots: the first, the size of the tires is true to reality but the creator of the mod made the wheels with a diameter that is too small. To fix the problem, there is an alternative: reduce the wheel size in tyres.ini file. This distorts the transmission ratios. Whereas after a "resize" operation in 3Dsimed you only modify the appearance of the tire but do not modify the transmission ratios at all and, miraculously, the wheels touch the ground perfectly.
The car pictured here is the Fiat Abarth Punto Supersport. IRL the wheels have these dimensions: 215/45/R17. if you enter these parameters in the tyres.ini file, the wheels float above the asphalt.

and after resizing the wheels in 3Dsimed

Hope this will help.
Have a nice week end, Mike

Here is the link to pack 2 (1972 F1 cars)
LOTUS / MARCH.WILLIAMS / MARCH

- Lotus 72d Early (two ".kn5" files that must be edited in the "lods" file in the "DATA" folder according to the desired race.
a) Lotus Especial (Brazil Gp Extra-championship, an adaptation I made...)
b) Lotus 72 Early (ARG-ESP-MON)

  • Lotus 72d Season (car for the rest of the season)
  • March Williams- March 721 Early
  • March 721 Early 2
  • March 721g
  • March 721g ( Italia )
  • March 721x ( Spain-Monaco-Belgium )

The "DRIVER 3D" file is the same as in the previous pack.
Some cars already contain the files for (driver_70 + driver_70_fe)
I've begun reworking the Lotus skins in 4K and with more accuracy. Please let me know if you would like to receive them.
