Nürburgring Nordschleife comparison of graphics and sound between Project CARS (Build 953) and Assetto Corsa (Dream Pack & v1.1). The video is a lap at "The Green Hell" with the McLaren P1™ hypercar in both.

This video gave me goosebumps & made me want to cry tears of joy! This is the first time I've been interested in Assetto Corsa. PS4 or PC? I think I need a PC after watching that.

Not a single replay (TV) camera...wow...just wow.

With the beautiful static cameras in Nürburgring that Assetto has, I'm impressed by the bad taste of most You Tubers putting their onboard cameras on and on...

There is nothing better than watch the car from outside, how the suspensions work, the overall movement of the car, and how you as a driver took those corners and such. What a shame that everyone uploads onboard or the silly back side (third person) camera.

Just a critic. (I love to watch my own replays...from outside)

Hmm, i seem to really enjoy watching these guys wrestle with the wheel from the inside of the car. And i can watch the battle through their windsheild, i think it's a great perspective.

Ferrari 312T @ Nordschleife. Hope you enjoy it.

Dunno why, in the "video management" screen doesn't appear the preview image while it appears in my channel screen and in research screen, viceversa it is labeled "HD" in the "video management" but not in the research screen, only "new" (for the moment). Anyway, it is 1080p60, checked right now :)

how do you get the shotgun camera ?

Press F6 to cycle through some additional camera views. F1 through F7 should work for changing to different views, with F7 been a placeable camera.

And for the "real free cam mode" ^^ open the camera_onboard_free.ini [:\Steam\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg] and change "SPHERICAL_COORDS" from =1 to =0

Now you can move the F5 cam like you can in photo mode with pressed mouse button, +wasd, +shift for slower movement and -,+ on numpad for incr./decr. field of view...

Well it's official, Emptybox doesn't like assetto corsa:

I wrote this in the comment section below:

Well gotta agree there's a hint of negative bias everytime Emptybox makes an AC vid. Although the points he makes are valid, everyone and his mother is very happy with the AC DLC pack and the 1.1 update. Their version of the ring is one of the best that's out there, the 10 cars in the pack are great and it only costs 15 damn bucks for the lot. Also the AI isn't that bad and quite fast if you want it to, flag system improves things a lot especially seeing the penalty system has been revised this way (which wasn't mentioned in the video neither although Emptybox was complaining a lot about it beforehand).

Haters gonna hate.

What is this "Empty Box"'s favorite sim?
He does a lot of iracing and his favorites apart from that are Stock car extreme and RFactor2. He makes good videos though just a shame he's so negative about AC always.

His negativity struck me as constructive in nature and he did raise valid points - especially about the DLC. It's going to be a real mess after a few DLC packs with everyone running different packs if they can't race together.

That's a very long way from "Haters Gonna Hate" syndrome.

The DLC and not being able to run one of your cars on a server if you didn't buy the DLC package and one of those cars is also on the server, but I'm sure they'll work it out.
