I've been addicted to Monaco lately, did a bunch of F1 car comparisons and driving them the way they were meant to be driven. That is full manual/clutch + heel/toe in the 98T and MP4/4, and paddles with the FW31. FW31 is just an awesome car to drive, it's very sensitive but it really listens to the driver and the power delivery is really smooth. Small setup changes make a real difference, definitely one of my favourite cars/mods on this kind of track.
With the F2002 I had factory traction control on too, mainly because the real car had it and the engine is a complete nightmare without it on. Shows they did a great job of modding the F2002 though since the car is incredible with traction control on and it has a few factory settings to let you tune it to suit different tracks, but you turn it off and it's a complete pile of **** because of the power delivery.
Super sensitive car/tyres and you have to be really on point with it to avoid ending up in a wall but really rewarding when you get it right.
Naughty of me to use the Mclaren colours on a Lotus but it is what it is. This car is an absolute monster, a monster I struggled with because no matter what I did I couldn't get the front tyres up to temperature, while the rears obviously had no problem. Either way the car is still super fast, at least in a straight line it's savage.
If I could get the tyres warmed up it'd be faster again, especially because I could brake a lot harder but then I fear it'd be way too fast to be considered realistic, if we compare back.
MP4/4 is a great mod but I found it was perhaps overly stable and also very understeer prone, especially at low speed when we're relying on the mechanical grip.. MP4/4 was as a result very hard to push fast and really place it where you want, I tried to dial some oversteer in but I'm useless at setups, my fastest lap happened to be where I drove it aggressively and the "nice" looking laps were over 1 second slower.
